"I am! I am a monster Robin! I'm not human... not anymore! But I am not going into a nail salon; I'd rather put rubbing alcohol in my eyes then smell that shit. I don't need my hair done it's fine! Robin hey! Why are you so determined to make me so girly for this date thing anyways?!" Cait asks being hauled after the woman, finding it harder then she thought to fight her. Besides she didn't really enjoy salons or shopping. Too many people too much perfumes. She hated public places too... she always realized just how different she was from everyone else.

"I don't buy that and neither should you! Joe sheltered a young woman with a problem, not a monster that wanted to play human! Whatever happens once a month is separate to the life you live the rest of that month. I know someplace that doesn't use overly irritating chemicals; you deserve to get some pampering. And maybe some new, never worn by anybody else clothes, my treat." Robin then grabbed her purse and headed to the front door and beyond that her car.

"Robin I am who I am all the time. I am more than human and I am a lot less then animal. I don't like perfume and I don't want to wear it! If you wanna throw money away on me when second hand stuff is good enough then that's your decision! I am a werewolf Robin. It's who and what I am. It has been since I was fifteen. But I'm trying to be... someone I want to be and not who Marcus was trying to make me. I don't know how to act with guys. I serve them... or I fuck them. That's all Marcus taught me." Cait says getting into the car. She was fine going along with all of this but she knew what she was Joe did too. Robin seemed... to want to think she was a completely normal person until the full moon came.

"Well, there isn't much to do about your lack of experience with guys, but I believe his intent is to get to know you this time around. And I don't mean to be difficult, but you said you are looking for what could pass as normal life. So far we have just dealt with everything to do with the wolf part of you, this is going to be the first that deals with Caitlin and I want to do something nice." She drove them to the mall and found a parking place, it wasn't overly packed today and they entered the gallery and looked at the shops map. "There is a nice clothing store that sells very cute sundresses, maybe team one up with a nice pair of denim shorts?"

"You pick them I wear them. These places make me nervous." Cait says sticking close to Robin. Caitlin always had hated large spaces without the pack around her. Joe had taken her to the feed mill one day and there was a bunch of people getting feed and such and she had practically held onto his sleeve the entire time. Now... Now she just wasn't used to being out in the open and modern. While getting to know James sounded nice enough... all Cait could think of was their mating in the shed. Joe had once told her that everything gives you more opportunities. While that might be true Cait still didn't know how to date. Or talk to a man she wasn't supposed to be equal to... or lower to. Humans were so different and that was one thing Joe couldn't teach her. Joe isolated her to protect her and teach her. But she needed experience in the real world too. "I said I wanted to live a normal life... not what everyone else thought was normal. Just calm and normal for me Aunt Robin." Cait says putting the teasing tone on the word aunt.

Robin wrapped an arm around Caitlin's and took her hand, "If you don't know what is normal because you never had an experience. Then seeing others and how they live will help you decide what is normal for you." Together they walked to a small store that had a great deal of clothes. She picked out several different colors and patterns that she figured would look nice on Caitlin then had her go try them on to pick one. "I hope you understand that when he called to see if I'd help you that I did with the best of intentions. If you are against perfume, how about after a shower you relax in a bathtub with some lavender or rose in the water?"

"No thank you, oils are worse then perfume. Might as well put a flower in my hair if you want me to smell good." Cait said, she left all the picking out to Robin since it was her money; Cait was never given the chance to pick things out for herself until she was with Joe thrift shopping. She liked thrift shopping though there was a store across the way... though doused in cologne and perfume they had very cute display clothes. They were probably very expensive though. So Cait stayed quiet on the subject and simply followed Robin... like she was trained from Marcus.

Robin stopped and turned around after a few minutes of shopping, "Caitlin, pick somethings you'd like to try. I'm older and what I think might look nice might not agree with you. And I meant actually placing rose petals or lavender in the water no oils or perfumes." She knew Joe shopped the thrift store near the reservation, and didn't mind the idea. But, she wanted Caitlin to have something new for her first major step in California.

"Marcus had me wear tight clothing that was low cut and usually cut out the midriff. He also liked tight pants. or shorts. Joe had me wear tanks with button ups over and roll up the sleeves and work type pants and boots. It's your money. Dress me how you want me to look." Cait shrugs. When she had money of her own she might come buy clothes someday. From the clearance racks. But she didn't want Robin to spend money on something she might not like. Though there was a one shoulder top over the way that had red almost tree limbs over a black background. It was alike a tube top but had a rather thick strap over one shoulder. Of course even if she told Robin what she was looking at she had no bra she could possibly wear with it and she was not a girl who could go without a bra.

Robin stopped and put down the things she picked out and put her hands on Cait's shoulders. "Go and find something you like and want to wear, it is my chance to give you a welcoming gift. I want you to have some new things, that are yours. I never had a child, so I need someone to do nice things for." She hoped Caitlin would understand that Robin wanted her to decide for herself.

"Robin... it's your money! I don't know what to buy! I like things but... I've never had freedom before. I can't just take your money and spend it... what if you don't like what I picked? What if you wanted me to pick out something else, something better then what I picked?" Cait says folding her arms and looking down at the ground. It was a very submissive thing to do telling the other person they were in charge and she was submitting her will to Robins. It was something she still hadn't gotten out of her system. Deferring to others and acting the submissive when in reality she wasn't.

"I want you to have that freedom; all that matters is that you like what you pick. Now go and pick something out for 'yourself' and I'll be over here." She walked over to a couple chairs over by the dressing room and took a seat. Caitlin deserved to be independent, her coming here was to follow her dreams and she would have to do for herself. This would be a big step in Caitlin defining herself as a wolf without a pack.

Caitlin looked very unsure of herself. She looked around a little and thought about the things that Robin had been looking at and decided that if it was a little similar to those things Robin would be okay with them... and hopefully not get mad... or do what Joe had and outright refuse. Marcus never let her pick anything... Joe didn't accept if she chose wrong. Caitlin wondered what robin would do. But she chose two shirts in the store she was in and then hesitantly pointed to the teen store across the hallway mall area, to the top she liked. "Can... we go there?" She asks softly, afraid robin would be angry or upset or disappointed or something.

Robin came over to follow where she pointed, "If you want to, I'm up for anything." She smiled and opened her purse as the sales girl rang up the purchase. Once they had the bag with the shirts they proceeded to the store across the way. "I don't think new shoes would be a bad idea; don't want you hurting your feet breaking in new ones." Robin took a seat with the bag and began to watch Caitlin shop.

"I'll get new shoes after I get a new job. Besides they say work shoes are best bought when you work right? These shoes are good enough. I don't mind wearing old sneakers or the work boots I got for working on Joe's land. "I... I kind of like this shirt." Cait says softly finding the one shouldered shirt she'd seen in the window. It was thirty dollars. Even if it was the only shirt she got... it was the one she liked a lot. If Robin let her get this shirt... she might wear it today... though... she'd have to find some way of fixing her bra... somehow. Or use the money Joe had sent and buy a new one.

"Interesting choice, I think you'll need to buy a bra to go with it." She pointed towards the area of the store where there was a multitude of bras. Caitlin's choice was interesting and it made Robin happy that she was showing a degree of independence. "So, this shirt and some other new clothes and your boots, if you are going to get a new bra get a matching panty. That is if you plan on wearing any." She added as an afterthought.

"Not really. I don't like panties. Though... Marcus used to buy me some from that expensive place. They were soft and nice. I think they were called boy shorts or something. I liked those. I... I've never really been shopping in a place like this before... It's kind of... well embarrassing." Cait says softy blushing brightly, Robin was...so accepting of everything about Cait... except for the need for help from people for the simple tasks. Apparently that was a no no for Robin.

Robin took what she said and processed it, "Then go see if there are some boy shorts or something over there that works then. Unless you prefer Victoria's then we can go down to that store." She knew that Caitlin needed to realize that they were sisters in the fact they were both women. The blushing reminded her that Caitlin was still a young lady raised by men since she left home. She'd spend hundreds or so to help the young lady realize to assert her wants and not to care what others thought.

"What's Victoria’s?" Cait asks softly wondering if it was the owner of the place or something. Did stores in malls work that way? "Or... I mean who... um..." Cait says blushing harder, and stammering to a stop. She instead of continuing to talk when to the underwear area. She went straight for the black bras. Marcus had only ever let her wear that color and Joe never cared either way so she never bought any other kinds. But... being here with Robin. She was looking at the cheapest of the bras. It was obvious what she was doing.

Robin saw her tactic and commented, "Make sure it is a quality bra, don't want an errant underwire poking you." She followed and nudged her towards better quality ones. "So, have you given thought to jeans, shorts, or something else?" she asked. The whole idea of this date made her curious and could even see a story based on it. "Oh, look there is some of those boy shorts, lots of colors and patterns too." she said holding up a black pair with a yellow smiley on the butt.

"that's... weird. Why'd they put something like that on it? They don't seem to have any bra's that can do the one shoulder thing..." Caitlin says looking over the bra's she was confused by the underwear though. Maybe they needed to go to this Victoria’s shop... "Blacks are good enough for me." She says leaving the bras to look at the underwear. Picking out a completely lace one... a black one with lace on the edges and a plain black solid one. IT seemed black was the only stuff she was going after.

"Actually, this one is what you need." Robin said holding up a black, lacy strapless bra. She put it in Caitlin's hand and smiled at her, it wasn't overly expensive. "Look and see if there is anything else you would like while I track down a salesgirl." She left her while she went looking for a salesgirl. The store had a couple of other shoppers and oddly a scent travelled over to her, it was Molly faint but there.

Not really thinking about what she was doing, Cait set the three panties she had picked out and the bra down on the shelf so it would be noticeable for Rabin. Then she wandered off to find Molly. For some reason... it was important that she see the little girl she could smell so faintly. She would come back but first she had to check on Molly. It was odd... but sometimes instinct took over and she just followed it. She never fought it. It had never gotten her in any real trouble.

Instead of finding James or his little girl she found a salesgirl putting out some new clothes. 'Brenda' was on the woman's name tag and it all fell into place. This was the woman that James had told her about; she must have seen Molly today at some point. She looked up at Caitlin and asked, "Can I help you with anything?" Standing she brushed off her pants and looked at Caitlin waiting for answer.

"Eh?! Um no! No... Sorry I was just... I have... to go. Sorry." Caitlin says blushing and then backing away before leaving. Wow now she only felt dumb stupid and moronic. She quickly hurried back to the area she left the undies and things and grabbed them looking around for Robin. She just wanted to go now. This... this wasn't her world. This wasn't someplace... she was used to or even... mildly accepted in. It would take quite some time before Caitlin would ever be a mall hopping trendy girl she was sure. For now she had enough and it was fine. She was used to living and being where she was in life and she would get better and she would become a real person in the world someday.. But that day was not today.

Robin noticed her distress and stood up, "What is the matter Caitlin?" Something had changed; she seemed upset and unsure about something. They moved to the cashier and Robin paid for everything on her credit card. As they exited the store she practically ran into Molly and James's scent as they were coming out of another store with a young lady that had a strong trace of his partner. Molly saw her and started to squirm, making James look in her direction and he smiled when he saw her.

Caitlin sighed in relief getting out of the store and then blushed bright red when she saw Molly and when James looked over at them. She quickly put the bags behind her as if she’d been caught doing something bad. Which was awkward because with James she'd only been the confident and in charge person. "Nothing just... there's too much perfume around. I'm feeling a little ill from it let's go right now!" Caitlin says before grabbing Robins arm and trying to get her to move quickly. She did not want Robin near James and with her feeling to edgy and nervous and out of her comfort zone.

Molly giggled and pointed to Caitlin and squirmed more to get James to approach them. And he walked right to Caitlin, "Um, hi. Funny finding you here..." Before he could finish Molly launched herself towards Caitlin apparently wanting her to hold her. Robin watched with some mirth realizing this might have been the reason Caitlin wanted to go. The other young lady equally grinning watched the interaction between them.

"EEH!?" Cait says dropping the bags to catch the little girl. Instinct ruled to protect the young and so she did. Not a thought for the bags or what might spill out of them, just catch the baby and make sure she's safe and protected. "Er... M-molly right? H-hi." Caitlin blushes, she'd never done anything with children before. Marcus hadn't let any of the pack mate and he hadn't had any so from fourteen to twenty when she ran off she hadn't had any dealings with children or babies and she was timid enough she wasn't sure how to hold the little girl or how to react to all of this. Which meant there was a bright red flush over her face in front of James.

Molly needed no other ideas as she wiggled about to get comfortable against Caitlin, wrapping her arms around her neck. "Molly, you shouldn't do that pumpkin." her father admonished. She giggled in response and tightened the hug a little. "Caitlin this is Janet she is Mike's daughter and she's keeping an eye on Molly tonight. And you must be Aunt Robin? It's finally good to meet you."

Caitlin finally settled for putting her arm under Molly's but and a hand on her back to support her. She had no idea what she was doing and it showed but since Molly was determined to stay there was nothing for it. "ER... Hi Janet it's... nice to meet you." Caitlin says with an automatic bright smile for Janet. She hoped Robin didn't say too much or that she picked up her bags she'd dropped to catch Molly. That would be nice.

Robin had recovered the bags before the contents spilled out, "Good to meet you Janet and finally meet you too James and Molly." The little girl giggled at the mention of her name and turned around to look at her father. James looked at Caitlin holding his little girl and smiled. "I think she likes you, Cait, and she's a real good judge of character." Molly shook her head yes then kissed Caitlin on the cheek and giggled again.

Cait blinked and then blinked harder as her eyes filled with water. "Uh... Um... well... yeah." Cait says softly looking down and resituating the little girl to hide the fact her eyes had gotten misty. No one needed to see that, and she didn't have time to explain things... certainly not in front of strangers like Janet and James. Though he wasn't much of a stranger really. Just past and personality wise.

James touched Molly his hand touching Caitlin's, "Honey I think Caitlin might need to go." Molly answered, "No." and hugged tighter to Caitlin before laughing again. Her father looked at Caitlin and smiled again, "She is a hugger, I'm sorry." He gently took Molly who reluctantly let go, "Bye bye?" she said looking at Caitlin.

"Only for a little while sweetie. We'll meet in the park again." Cait says with a smile, she didn't know why she was making promises to the little girl but she couldn't not. So gently passing Molly back to her father Cait steps back a foot or two. "I'll... see you at six James." She says softly before turning and leaving quickly. Heading right outside and for Robins car. Getting herself quickly under control again, she just wanted to go back... go to a place she knew and was okay with.

Robin joined her, "He seems very nice and Molly seems to really like you. She only showed what I knew all along, you are good people." She then turned the car for home. "I think everything you bought today will look very good. Maybe a good hot shower and relaxation before six when he comes to pick you up."

"I think a hot bath would be a lot better maybe after a run." Caitlin says softly, she hated this. Not fitting in and not being able to, to be normal, or react normally in normal situations. She wasn't and couldn't. It would probably take a long time for her to be much more normal reacting and feeling around people. She knew it would take a long time, she knew she would have to work on it and try her best but... she didn't really... feel like there was much hope that she could ever be a normal person like Robin wished her to be.

"Well, while you do that, I'll put these away in your closet." Robin offered. She noted the reactions to James and the little girl, Caitlin was nervous about being near them. "Little Molly is an amazing little girl and seems to like you." Hoping the small talk would help her work everything out. Robin knew that learning to fit in wasn't going to be easy for Caitlin, and just hoped that she could help the young woman.

"She lost her mother. And her aunt isn't very nice according to James. She's... very trusting it must be hard for him to defend her and care for her. They don't need a problem like me around. I can't believe I lost control of my instincts like that." Cait sighs heavily watching out the window. Once home she would change and go run. Then save enough time to go back to the house and get a bath, then be ready for him to come at six thirty.

"Don't be too hard on yourself; you have lived without so much since you were bit. Now you are going to get that chance to be free and make decisions for yourself. Children are remarkable judges of people, and if she likes you then there is always hope Caitlin." Robin hoped that whatever brought her and James together was fated to happen. So many others would gain hope if she could make this life and relationships all work out.

"Which is why a relationship with a human cop unaware of the unnatural and with a young defenseless daughter none the less, shouldn't be mixed up with me Robin. This isn't one of your books; I doubt there will ever be a real happy ending to my story. I just want to learn how to live on my own... I want to live a life where I can control my own actions and my own future." Caitlin says softly, this was the dream she'd had after Marcus had shown his true colors. Once she was sixteen he controlled everything. She was mature then... enough that he had to take care of her specially. She was kept the Omega of their pack.

"Caitlin, I haven't spoken much of other lycans who came to me for help. I try to protect their secrets as best I can. There is a male lycan living in Oregon with his human wife." Robin opened her wallet and showed her a picture of a smiling couple. "Thomas has changed so much since he first came here."

"That's nice... bet his whole life wasn't nearly as fucked up as mine was. I'm glad others have found happy endings. But Robin... I'm nowhere near being a healthy capable adult let alone a healthy working Lycan, let alone ever having been a teenager. There's too much going on in my life for things to work out right now. Even though... he's hot as hell and fucks like a machine." Caitlin says with another long drawn out sigh. She didn't want to say it but the man in the picture... she didn't get the feeling he was an alpha... or an alpha alpha. A leader.

"You left before you hurt anyone in your family, he didn't get that chance. Don't think so little of your chances to be free or what you want to be normal." Robin pulled in at her house and turned off the car and began to gather a bag or two. "Oh, by the way, here I got you this." handing Caitlin a cell phone, "It is pay as you go, no contract unless you want one." She unlocked the door and went inside to put away the clothes.

"I don't even have a job yet Robin! I can't let you keep paying for stuff for me like this! It isn't fair to you!" Caitlin said eyes wide in surprise at the gift Robin gave her. Not only that but Robin kept buying her things like today at the mall. Caitlin didn't even know how much she had spent on her clothes... probably more then was a good reason. "I'm not belittling myself or anything I'm thinking realistically. I know the odds. I'm still fighting them though... isn't that good enough? Can't I get a small apartment and a job or two before doing anything serious in my life or long term?" Caitlin asks softly, she wondered if life was always going to be long term and there was no way she could ever go through short steps to get to where she eventually wanted to be.

"It wasn't that much and you can pay the $50 a month for the unlimited plan, or make arrangements for a contract. That way when you fill out the job applications you can put that number on it instead of mine. So I can be a reference, for a prospective employer." She began to empty the bags and hang the clothes in the closet. "Yes, fighting against the odds is good and deserves to find enjoyment and happiness, even during that fight."

"Fifty dollars! How much was the phone!?!" Caitlin asks the other side of the conversation all but lost on her. Thinking realistically she needed a phone a lot cheaper then fifty dollars a month if she was going to get an apartment and feed herself and have electricity to go with it... probably. She didn't even have references... only Robin now she supposed. The only bars she'd worked at or placed she'd waitressed were truck-stops and bars Marcus took over and then left behind from other packs. So while she had a bartending license it was because she'd begged Marcus to let her become legit. But the cost of living... she didn't actually know what it would be.

"Don't worry about the cost, and I will help you with budgeting your money. Besides it is unlimited, you can call Joe when you aren't staying here and anyone else." Robin came over and patted Caitlin's cheek and putting the bag of underthings in her hand. She hoped the young woman would have fun tonight with James. And mildly intrigued by the earlier comment about being "hot as hell" and "fucking like a machine".

"Who else would I call? You and Joe... but I live with you now... I need to save all the money I get Robin... I mean it... if I'm not using it to live on I don't want to spend it." Cait says softly, she knew what she wanted and when she got there that's when she'd let herself have things and splurge and... live until she got there she had to work as hard as possible to finish her dream. It was the only way she knew how to do things. Even Joe hadn't taught her any different. Though he told her spending money on things are a necessity... close and shoes and person hygiene was very important. Frivolities were for people who had free time and no goal in life. People who were lost from their purpose he had told her. "I'd better go change for my run... otherwise I'm not gonna have time to shower." Caitlin says softly.

"Ok, is there anything else you need?" she asked heading for the door. She had a couple phone calls to make and a project in the works. Then she was going to have to figure out something for dinner, for with Caitlin around there were never leftovers anymore. "Perhaps a salad and a nice slice of bread." she said heading down the steps. Robin hoped that she would have fun tonight.

Caitlin smiled; perhaps being here was healthy for Robin too.. gave her someone else to look after. Anyways she'd have to stay until she got a job and a license and stuff. Cause she couldn't actually drive legally. But Cait changed and then went out running. At five o'clock she got back sweating heavily and out of breath. She'd really let herself run everything out today. So taking a quick shower she changed into some of the best jeans she had... they were tight all over and had no tears though they were a little grungy just a few stains one from coffee another from oil. Then she tried on the new bra and the new top the one she had picked out special. It really set off her golden brown hair and her almost amber eyes. Her nicely darkened tan skin was set off against the black and red of the top, and it was softened by her hair and the blue faded jeans. Pulling half her hair back and putting it in a messy knotted bun she pulled on socks and pulled on her running shoes. It was about as good as she was going to get. That's when she went downstairs to see if Robin liked it or not. She had maybe fifteen minutes before Six.

"It all looks nice, but, shorts would show off your legs a little more. But, I think you would look pretty good in anything and casual works well." She put her pencil down and gave Cait her full attention; she didn't want to be rude. The den was as always, cool and really the only light was from the desk lamp where she was working. She checked the time and smiled again at Caitlin, "I am a little surprised you haven't asked for any ideas where he is taking you."

Caitlin turned and looked over her shoulder. "But these make my butt look great! I... I didn't think you'd tell me. Joe always told me if I was patient I would find out and Marcus always got angry if I asked too many questions." Caitlin says with a shrug. She didn't mind not knowing. In fact she was so used to it was odd to think someone would tell her even if she had asked them. She wondered if a lot of the things she did were odd to Robin... or if Robin wasn't nearly as odd as Caitlin often thought she was. Maybe Robin was normal and the oddness was all from Caitlin.

"I think James has a good idea and can modify his plans at your whim. And telling you would ruin part of the magic of the date. Since you never really dated, I think the mystery would do you better. But, as always if you have questions ask, I will answer when I can ok?" She smiled warmly at Caitlin and made a mental note that James better make tonight special for her friend.

"Do I detect a hint of mother like concern!? I should call Joe quick and tell him! The studiest that is Robin is showing concern and is that maternal instinct?!" Caitlin grins pulling out the new cell phone as if she really were going to make the call. Teasing Robin about her concern. Cait picked up on it, even if Robin wasn't saying it outright. She basically dismissed the rest though she would take the advice from now on... or try to. She wanted to be normal and knew she needed to work at it a little. Most of what she did was a habit and odd for most people apparently. She needed to get used to crowds of people too. Like... real people and not bar or biker or Lycan type people.

"If you are fishing for a grounding, not a chance." she retorted with a smile. "Our policeman friend seemed very interested in seeing you tonight." She got up and came around to Caitlin and smiled when she hugged her. "I'm glad you are here, and I know that Joe is proud of you wanting to follow your dreams." She then let her go, so she could consider her outfit and change if she wished.

"Bah you're no fun to play with if you won't play Robin!" Cait complains. It was in her own way... or perhaps it was more like a wolf pup playing with an elder wolf. though the older wolf or Robin didn't play so it made a sad puppy. "Joe practically shoved me out the door I'll have you know. I was happy safe with him like I was. It was like... it was like a home being with Joe." Caitlin says softly, she missed that feeling a very great deal. But slowly she was coming to not be so wary of Robin, becoming closer trusting her just a little more at a time.

"Well, I guess you'd be right if I was still up when you get home, would that make you feel batter?" she smiled playfully at Caitlin. "He knew that your dreams were going to lead you here. And while he knew it would hurt he did what was needed." Robin smiled as she watched Caitlin walk, "Make sure you wear comfortable footwear, there will be a little walking." That was probably the most of a hint that she was giving out.

"Already dressed 'Aunt Robin'." Cait says making a face and a crazy in the head motion. She was wearing tennis shoes what was there better for walking in besides bare feet for Caitlin? Sometimes... Caitlin didn't get Robin at all and couldn't wait to leave but on the other hand she was afraid of being on her own completely. But moments like right now made it awkward and made Caitlin feel like a responsibility and a hassle... like a retarded child unable to do anything without being shown how to every single day.

Robin smiled and hugged her again, "You look very nice and you should have fun tonight. I'm going to start getting my dinner around, how about keeping me company for a little bit?" Caitlin's motherly comment made her think about how lonely she had been not long ago. Now with her here things were a bit brighter around here. Robin took out what she needed for a salad and started working on it, "Any general dating questions before James arrives?"

"Um... Is there anything I should ask? Can't fuck on the first date? Cause I already fucked and this is our first date." Caitlin said having gone with her to the kitchen. There was only a few minutes left until six and Cait was very curious whether or not he would arrive on time. Caitlin could suddenly feel a sort of melancholy coming from Robin... a slowness in the movements the hug... and deliberate handling of her utensils. "I'll be around for a little while you know." Cait says softly to Robin.

"Find out about him, he knows you are from Michigan where is he from? Family, music, and all those little things that make up the bigger picture. Was he always a policeman, why did he want to see you again, use these types of questions to gauge if there is or will be something there. And if everything leads you back to sex again then so be it." Robin took her hand in hers, "It has been a long time since I dated and you will do fine."

"Okay... I'll work on it. HE should be here soon so... don't do anything really weird okay? I'm weird enough and it's really weird having you be my Aunt." Caitlin says in return to Robin taking back her hand. Caitlin was never a person very comfortable with touching... in fact she was often very kept to herself. Withdrawn and private. She was kept that why by Marcus; only he was allowed to touch her. Joe had the awkward casual touches to help teach her about the farm and how to use tools and fix the car but... Caitlin wasn't comfortable enough with Robin for this yet.

"Alright, but from what I remember you should make him wait a little bit. Make him nervous in anticipation; at least I remember doing that a couple of times. Maybe wait upstairs until I call you, put you both on equal footing with the nerves." she suggested. Almost as she finished that comment, the sound of a different kind of car pulled up in front of the house and stopped. "Doesn't sound like a SUV does it?" even Robin could hear it through the open kitchen window.

"No it's his car. I recognize the sound... I'll be upstairs then... sitting in the hallway?" Caitlin says moving into the entryway to head upstairs. Her hair was in a half pony tail bun thing and she didn't own any make-up not that she often wore any make-up. She didn't own any of her own at any rate. So she headed up the stairs and prepared to wait and to listen to their conversation while she waited upstairs.

When Robin let him in there was some pleasant hello's between them. Then she called upstairs with an amused tone, "Caitlin, James is here." She then commented that she figured Caitlin would enjoy the date and if he still was keeping with his plans. "Oh yes, I figured a movie wouldn't exactly be the most interesting thing for a first date." He sounded like he was a little nervous, but happy at the same time.

Caitlin stood and took a moment or two giving him some time as if she was actually doing something and had to stop. Then she slowly she stepped down the stairs. "Coming Aunt Robin." Caitlin calls once at the top of the stairs. She slowly walks down them, not nervous or fast in excitement just walking down the stairs. She was nervous though, but she'd had years to perfect not letting anyone on about it. In Marcus’s pack you had to learn to survive very quickly.

James was waiting at the bottom of the stairs with Robin, dressed in khaki shorts, tee shirt and a blue camp shirt over it. Looking up he smiled and as she reached the bottom of the stairs he passed her a dozen red carnations. Behind him out at the street was a red 1967 ford Thunderbird convertible, and other than the scent of Molly he didn't smell of gunpowder or oil. "I wanted to get this off to a very good start, and I figured it was a good time to pull the old car out of storage." he explained. "You look very nice and I hope you like what I have planned for us."

"Oh my god! Do you have the six cylinder in it? Is it a 196...4? no... the model of the hood... a 1966 or 67? It's beautiful!" Caitlin said her eyes pouring over every detail of the car. It hadn't sounded like his usual car... but she thought he borrowed something... how he could afford a beautiful car like this was kinda wow. She was holding the flowers but she didn't put them to her face and smell them. They were way to strong. She smelled them as they were now. But she pulled one out snapped the stem off in half and put it in her hair bun thing at the back of her head. to at least show him she liked it. She handed the rest of the flowers to Robin. She was smiling brightly, at James then tearing her eyes away from the car.

"All of it restored from what it was when I first got it, Only thing newer is the interior seats." He noted Robin's smile and felt like the car had been a nice choice. "Well, not that we are in a hurry, but would you like to get going?" He was a little nervous; this was his first date in a year and a half, longer considering most first dates never went to a second. Crossing his fingers before getting out of the car that this one would go good.

"Sure okay... Bye Aunt Robin..." Caitlin said turning and after a moment’s hesitation, gave Robin a quick hug before turning and leaving out the door quickly. She had her new cell phone on her but she didn't know how to use them, and she only knew Joe's number by heart. But she wanted to see the car up close and check it out and ride in it. She LOVED old muscle cars. They were beautiful and strong and well... Caitlin loved them. Since Joe had been teaching her about cars these were her favorite by far these Thunderbirds. She didn't know how the date would go... it was the first ever in her life she'd have been on one. She was very nervous.

James pulled open the door for her and then went around to the driver's side. He was impressed by her knowledge about cars; most people knew that the Thunderbird was old. Pulling away from the curb, he was glad the weather was nice that he could leave the top down. "So, any thoughts on where our stop is? And I hope you don't have a curfew." He drove along for a while before taking the exit for Santa Monica.

"No. you said dress comfortably and Robin said there was walking. I mean... Aunt Robin said. When one tells me things are a surprise or want them to be kept secret I tend to leave them like that and not pry." Caitlin says shrugging her shoulders. The feel of the engine in the car purring was like nothing else. She loved a good muscle car and Thunderbirds were deffiently among her favorites. As for the surprise place they were going... well she really didn't care as long as she didn't have to perform something specific or special or anything.

He smiled at her as they continued to drive, and the smell of the ocean air drew closer. Until they passed under the sign to the Santa Monica pier with the large ferris wheel looming overhead. "I used to love going to the fair back home, so I figured it would be a good place for a first date." Enough activities to fill in where the conversation might leave off. "So, where would you like to start, Aquarium, amusement park, or just wander the midway?" he asked getting out of the car.

"I don't know... I've never done anything like this before... or any of those things before actually. I only just moved to California a few days ago. I've... I've never lived anywhere where there were things like this." Caitlin said checking everything out, at least it was all in the open and she wouldn't have to worry about anything like that too much. But right now she wondered what it would be like going on rides and playing these games and doing these things that normal people do.

He took her hand and led her to the amusement rides, "How about we start with the roller coaster and work from there." The line at the roller coaster wasn't very long, the people getting on were chatting about how fun it was. Intermingled with the cries of excitement from the riders on board as it hurtled down the hill. James kept her hand in his for a little while and made some small talk until it was their turn. When they got on board they were in the front seat as the bar was put in place and it started rolling forward.

Cait knew she hadn't done very well with the small talk, she just... didn’t know what to talk about in a small way. She didn't mind the hand holding but it was... awkward for her and she got a little nervous once they got on the ride. She'd never been on a rollercoaster before. Marcus had told her that only a Lycan of great control could manage them from the terror they instilled in someone. Of course that was when she was fifteen and they had been traveling past one. Still she was nervous and a little scared and keeping herself very much in check just in case but her hands were gripping the bars tight. If it was closer to a full moon she might have bent the metal she was holding onto.

James looked over and smiled at her, "Don't worry it’s not that bad I promise." CLACK, CLACK, CLACK, went the wooden coaster up the hill and slowed at the top. Looking around someone could see the ocean as far as you could see, the other way was Santa Monica and out to the mountains. "Breathtaking ain't it?" he said with a grin as gravity began to take them down. As it did so he let go of the bar and began to raise his arms, and anything else he wanted to say was lost in the rushing wind.

"OOHHHH SHHHIIIITTT!!!!!" Caitlin screams gripping the bar very tightly. It was taking everything in her not to change from fright. She had never been one for height and yet it had been beautiful but this was terrifying this plunge straight down. Then the up turns and the corners and she almost couldn't draw enough breath for the screams coming from her mouth. Once the ride was over she was stumbling on her legs to get off, she grabbed James’s arm and leaned on it heavily. "N-no more of those." She says completely unsteady all her control used to stop the change and now she was trying not to puke.

James wrapped his arms about her and did his best to steady her, "No more roller coasters, c-h-e-c-k! Well, when you regain your composure we can try the swings or tilt-a-whirl or get something to eat." She was warm and felt good to him, he grinned to himself after he made the suggestion. Sights and smells started to waft from everywhere on the midway. A little way off if you listened was the famous carrousel.

"Nothing... nothing violent like the roller coaster though okay? And no food... right now... please." Caitlin says feeling sick at the thought and all the scents of all the foods though there was a lot she wanted to try. Like those candy apples. She remembered eating those when he was a very little girl... before the attack. Soon enough she was steady again and let go of him. She wasn’t the touchy feely type, in fact she was usually rather stand offish with people, but then again... she and James and already fucked so...

After that he let her pick the rides they would try and while in line make some more small talk. Asking questions like where she lived before coming to California and why she came to California. Once she was hungry he gave her some options for dinner including Bubba Gump seafood. "Anything you'd like to try from seafood to even corndogs and nachos. They have a great variety of things here." he commented as they looked around.

"I moved a lot and I don't really care for seafood all too much. It's sort of a dream of mine to start a business here. But... I could go for some of those apples covered in candy and things. And cotton candy too! And those necklaces of candy and the ring pops! And a pretzel and maybe a hotdog?" Cait asks with a grin looking around her at all the food and all the candies that she could eat. She'd never been to a place like this before but she wanted to try everything... except rollercoaster’s and things. She was vague with answers and didn't actually ask any of her own as of yet.

He smiled at her observations; she had a major sweet tooth. "How about a couple chilli dogs and some hand cut fries, then we can discuss candy apples and everything else. Maybe a game or two before we take a ride on the ferris wheel?" James pointed them in the direction of his favorite food stand, dessert he would take her by the popcorn factory shop. Pretty sure if she wanted sweets, she'd find everything she mentioned there.

"Okay sounds good!" Cait smiled brightly, she wondered about these games... ring toss... fishing with paddle looking things... the baseball throw and water squirt one, some of these were strange. But a lot of them looked like fun. The food sounded good too and she knew she needed meat to curb any 'hunger' she might get so his suggestion was a good one. But she really wanted to try all those candied things. They all looked really good.

They order the chilli dogs and large french fry and two rootbeer floats with homemade vanilla ice cream. And they found a seat out of the way to eat and James hoped talk some more. "So what kind of business do you want to open?" he asked between french fries. He wanted to find something that would get them talking more than they had. Caitlin was special and if really wanted to see her more often, they had to get to know each other.

"Cafe by day bar by night. I'm only good at bartending and serving as a waitress but I've always wanted my own place. I moved around too much before but now thanks to Joe and Robin... I think I might actually be able to do it someday. What about you? Detective for life?" Caitlin asks remembering what Robin had said about small talk and questions she should know answers to. Though Cait was almost done with her fries and food, she was saving the float for last; she really didn't like really sweet things.

"Well I'll gain ranks as I go, maybe rise as far as I can. But, it is all dependent on being able to care for Molly; I will do what's best for her." He took a swig of the rootbeer float, leaving a frothy mustache behind. "So, tell me about Joe, this is the first you ever mentioned him, former boyfriend or more like Robin?" James had no doubt that her determination would get her far, and that was good if they wanted to keep seeing each other.

"AHAHAHAHA! No! Oh gods no! Joe is... well... Joe is my dad. Or at least that's how I see him. He's taken care of me... he didn't want me to come yet,. He said I wasn't ready to face the city... not like I want to. I think he was half right actually but I'm not gonna tell him that. Robin is... well she's my aunt so it was good that I found a relative living where I wanted to go. But Joe taught me everything. Well... Everything Mar... I mean everything I hadn't already known." Caitlin says stopping herself from saying Marcus's name. James didn't need to know about that and there was no way to explain it to... well... not give everything away or make her sound like a crack whore. So she took a chug of the float and then grimaced at the sweetness and how cold it was.

"Something wrong with the float?" he asked, noting the grimace. That wasn't all he noticed hearing the "Mar" in her earlier remark, but deciding not to push. She hadn't quizzed him on anyone he had dated or even Sandra, so he would do the same. "Mike used to ask me why I didn't try for another division since I couldn't do SWAT anymore. It was nice to switch for a different skill set, that didn't rely on my military training so much."

"Really cold! So like the army or something you mean? I just learned how to street brawl mostly... Then Joe taught me some Indian martial arts stuff. IT's pretty neat." Caitlin says with a shrug of her shoulders glad to be changing topics. She wasn't good at small topic and only had three things to talk about. Her dream... Joe and Robin.... and Marcus/ being a werewolf. Not big dating topics any of them.

"Yep, Army ranger at one time." he said throwing the wrappers into a nearby trash can. He led her through the midway to the Popcorn factory, where the smells of fresh popcorn, candy apples, and cotton candy wafted out to the crowds. "Molly would live in there if she could, I got fudge here once and she just about inhaled it." James smiled at her and wondered if sometime the three of them might come and enjoy this place. "Well, look to your heart’s content and then we can go hit the ferris wheel and the games." he said with a grin.

Cait grinned and went in. She picked up a caramel apple covered in peanuts and some dark chocolate fudge and many other slightly bitter kinds of candy that would still be sweet. She ended up with seven or eight different candies and snacks. She was eating the apple first though she had bought two, one for Robin if she wanted it. "Thisf if awesfome!" Cait says to James her mouth semi full with sticky chewy sweet deliciousness.

He smiled as he picked up a bag of cotton candy and paid the woman, "Ready for the ferris wheel now?" They had been here for awhile and he wanted to wait until twilight so the ferris wheel was lit and the sky was beautiful colors. Reaching out he wiped a straggling line of caramel from her chin and cleaned it from his finger. "After that we can hit some of the games on the way out and take the scenic way home. Unless you have plans tomorrow?" he said keeping her eyes.

"Sure okay sounds good to me." Caitlin says with a shrug of her shoulders. She continued to eat the apple but... it... well she hadn't liked the first ride so she hoped this ferris wheel ride would be better. She had liked the carousel, and some of the other rides but not any of the tall roller coasters. She wondered what he meant by his last comment though. Did he want more sex? She didn't have any more condoms... but it still wasn't safe... even though she was no longer in heat. She wondered if she really did want to have sex... just the two of them. No heat to drive her and no beast behind it.

The giant ferris wheel laid before them, and after waiting a little while they were ushered into one of the roomy bucket seats. "The whole thing is powered by solar energy, even the neons." he explained. The seat was big enough for 3 or 4 people to fit comfortably and it rose quickly into the air, and then stopped as other people were loaded. James sat across from her preferring to sit beside her, but not wanting to crowd her. As it got higher they could see Santa Monica and the sun setting on the ocean.

"I have a dream... almost every night... of me running across a beach... the full moon so close and the waves hitting my feet. Every time I have the dream... I know it's in California... but I don't know where I've been... or where I came from and I never know where I'm running to. Joe told me that it was the spirits guiding me here to Santa Monica... he said the beach I described was somewhere here. But there's nothing else in my dream... no clues... no drive for anything just me running." Caitlin says as her eyes were glued to the beach in the sunset. She was speaking softly and didn't say the dream was her in full wolf form... which she didn't have. She just wondered if the dream would change now that she was here or if she would stop having the dream soon.

He was listening and reached across to her hands, taking one in his and squeezing it lightly. "Was it on the left or right? would tell us if you were heading north or south. Anything else in the way of a description, could you see this pier or some rock formation perhaps? If you want, I could help you try to find it, always been a sucker for a woman chasing a dream." James gave her a slight smile and a wink, but hopefully the time would draw the closer.

"No... No rock or pier just sand. Joe said that it was to signify my journey in life... and that something was going to take place here... That's why I'm here. I know I'm kinda weird and um not very conventional. A lot of stuff is new to me here in California... so... I'm also trying to get a job and some other big things... I don't know how much time I'll have to just relax or be myself very much from now on." Cait says looking up at James, he she could see was hoping this would be a long term thing and Cait was afraid of... making any real commitments. She was afraid of liking him too much.

"So, Joe interprets dreams? Like a medicine man?" he asked trying to keep up with the conversation. He would willingly help her look for this beach, it seemed important to her. Letting her hand go he settled back and watched how see looked out over the beach. How she was talking made him wonder if their having sex doomed anything else from happening. James wiped the thought of them sleeping together from his mind, he should just enjoy being near her.

"Well... Joe is a native american... I don't know if he is a medicine man or not... but he knows a lot. I don't think it's an actual beach...I've never been to a beach in California before. I love Joe very much. He saved me." Caitlin says softly with a gentle smile on her face as she sat back down into her seat. After a few moments of silence though she got up and moved to sit beside him. "Is all of this to get my interest again James? Cause if you wanna have sex we can I don't mind as long as we use protection." Caitlin said with a smile. She really didn't mind, he was great at it and she'd like to again... maybe when they weren't or she wasn't being driven by lust.

He smiled at her and leaned near, "I just want there to be a little more between us than phenomenal sex. I'm not asking for major commitments, just more than hooking up for a night or afternoon." James could not help it though and kissed her deeply despite what he said. "Mike forced me to take a couple condoms as a precaution." he admitted once they parted. The ferris wheel lurched to a stop to off load some more riders.

"I may... be getting two or three jobs here soon... and working on getting my GED... possibly even trying for my driver’s license. So I might be really busy... and not really have time for social life but... I HAVE to get my life on track. I can't live with R-Aunt Robin forever, and I have to start heading for the future. I like you James. You're really sweet and kind... but it does scare me that you have a little girl. I've never been around children before... ever. So I don't know... how to do things... like date and certainly don't know how to... be a mother not when I really didn't have one for a long time." Caitlin confesses though she snuggles up against him. HE still kissed fantastically, she'd very much like to have sex with him again... in fact she could feel her beasts agreement inside of her about that fact.

"I'm not asking for you to be a mother, maybe just a more stable female influence in her life." He wrapped an arm around her and kept her close, wishing he had tipped the guy running the ride to leave them up top longer. "And you know I'm willing to help with the GED and even take you out driving the thunderbird for practice. It might be a bribe to spend time with you, and Molly too sometimes." James had to admit he wanted her in the worst way, and make compromises to keep seeing her.

"I'm not stable James. Not in the least. I just got here and I'm trying to get on my feet for the first time in my life. I don't need help with the GED if I can't do it on my own I'll just go without it. But I would like to... I have a truck... I built half of it with Joe... I'll drive that but.. I want to... Oh fuck it!" Cait says before grabbing Jame's head pulling it down and kissing him deeply. Thrusting her tongue deep into his mouth, all this sexual tension was driving her nuts and this was... well... she was normal. There was no beast driving her tonight but... there was the woman that she was remembering the man he had been. She didn't want to talk about the future and what could be anymore because she didn't believe in if's and may be's. She believed in doing what was necessary right now... and follow your instincts and if logic was behind it then that too.

He pulled her tighter against him, massaging her tongue with his. She didn't quite understand what he meant by stable though. Brenda wasn't as stable as Caitlin was. Too flighty wants everyone to place everything at her feet. Caitlin wanted to work make her own way in the world, and that made her so sexy to him. James brought his hand to her side and felt the wonderful heat from her body.

Cait moaned softly, her body heated up again, it always heated up when there was sexual tension around her. Caitlin didn't want him thinking long term because right now... that scared her a lot. She wanted to be free... for once she wanted to be in charge of her own life. Her own wants and her own free time. She moved until she was on his lap, straddling him continuing the kiss deeply, grinding her hips against his own. This was what she was good at... this was something she knew and understood.

His other hand rubbed her ass, as he pressed her against him. Maybe they should hurry once they got off of this ride and go somewhere a little more private. James knew suggesting his place would be a bad idea, and hers was out of the question. "Um, were do you wanna go?" he managed to pant out when they separated for a second or so. There was a blanket in the bird’s trunk and miles of beach if that is what she wanted.

"Doesn't matter just want it." Cait says in reply, before diving back in for another kiss, once again moving her hips against his own. The ride would end and she wanted him raring and ready to go so there would be no more talking, that and all she could remember was their time together when she was fighting the wolf inside of her for control while they had sex in the dark room. She hoped he never went back and found the ruin she had left with her hands.

Sure enough the ride ended and they hurried off into the crowd. He stopped long enough to pay enough to toss a baseball at some milk bottles and after knocking them down, gave her the pick of large stuffed animal. "Something to remember tonight." he explained escorting her back to the car. As he opened the door he turned her towards him and kissed her deeply again. Then he hurried around to the driver's side and got in and pulled out into traffic.

Once in the car she rubbed the inside of his thigh, and then his crotch ever so lightly. He was a cop he could speed a little. Besides the need was high in her and she was controlling it. But she was hungry and only he could sate that hunger. The big plush wolf which was purple was comical and cute... in an ugly stuff monster kind of way, and she had her bag of sweets still but she wanted to find a place and fuck.

He put his foot down and the thunderbird roared into the darkness winding through traffic and up to a secluded bluff north of the pier. The sound of the surf below and looking south one could see the lights of the ferris wheel. "Is this good for you?" he asked slipping his hand along her thigh heading toward the button of her jeans. Good God, he never exactly was a horny teenager, but she brought this out in him. "I have a blanket in the trunk, unless.." he didn't really know how to ask if she wanted to get in the back seat and do this.

"Where-ever whatever just fuck me!" Caitlin groans deeply undoing her seatbelt the moment the car was stopped and pushed her hips forward so he could get easier access to it. She didn't know what he was asking... the hood the back seat hell even the ground she didn't care she just wanted him to make her feel the way he had before. She wanted him to make her feel like she needed to fight for control again. He was amazing! And she wanted to know if he'd be like that again without the heat riding them both.

He grabbed and quickly undid the button as he kissed her deeply and wrapped the other behind her back. After he parted from the kiss he picked her up and deposited them both in the back seat, and took to stripping off those jeans and panties. Parting her legs James couldn't imagine anything more breathtaking and he leaned forward to taste her. Wrapping his hands around her hips and burying his face against her body. Everything around them just made this so much hotter and he was glad he had the condoms.

Cait groaned he was as fantastic as she remembered. Opening her legs for him, she was completely unashamed of her own body. Once again she was the one who was naked only she still had her shirt and bra on this time. But this was great. On the cliff there was a breeze she could hear the city and the forest and there was no one near them and they were together and this was going to be great again. Caitlin just knew it.

He left her body just long enough to pull off his shirts and redouble his efforts. Also quickly he undid his shorts and got them down as he pulled a condom out to put it on. Caitlin was enjoying his attentions and he wanted her to enjoy doing this with him. Once he was sure she was ready he moved up and gathered her in his arms and brought her back to the seat so she was facing him. Gripping himself and placing himself inside her, he was panting and looking her in the eye as he pulled her onto him with a groan.

"YYee-EESSS!!!" Caitlin cried out as her body clutched his tightly, he felt much bigger then she had remembered. But as she slid down on top of him and took more of him into her body the more... right it felt and the more it scared her. She leaned forward and kissed him hard and deeply before shoving her hips down and taking his entire length in one fast hard thrust down. She winced and whimpered because he hit the end of her. He filled her completely and fully, it felt good and it hurt at the same time. But still she continued to kiss him. Holding his shoulders tightly with her arms wound around the back of them.

Once she fully impaled herself onto him he moaned into the kiss and slid his hands under her shirt. Running his hands across her skin and returning the kiss, he slowly began to thrust up pulling out a little and back in. He broke the kiss and looked up into her eyes as he was panting to catch his breath. James wanted to get her top off so he could give her chest some attention, remembering the first time they had sex. Everything about this date had led them right here, and he could not deny it he really liked her.

Cait moaned loudly, she didn't care if she was heard she enjoyed sex and she liked doing it with James... a lot. She helped pull off her top and her bra and she used her hips to try and roll them when they were together. She was loving this. It made it a lot more awkward though if they wanted to date because if they kept dating like this... that was a lot of sex. She didn't need to stress out too much about that though. Not now... right now she just needed to feel and enjoy.

He thrust again and again reveling in the warmth of her body, the feel of her skin. James licked and kissed her breasts, gently biting on the nipple and tugging some. Cupping her beautiful ass in his hands and squeezing it as they continued to ram against each other. One of his hands slid up her back all the way to her neck. Grazing the back of her neck as he released her breast and brought his mouth again to hers.

Caitlin whimpered and moaned at each different touch and how well he manipulated her, Crying out into his mouth when finally she climaxed, her body tightening around him inside of her and her thighs clamped down on his hips. Her human blunt nails scoring his back leaving red marks but she was careful not to draw blood just in case. Sweet rolled down her back and she couldn't stop the thrusting of her hips down onto his with almost frantic need.

James felt her body tighten on him like a vice and he could no longer hold back. Her nails and the cry amplified his climax and left him wanting more, holding her tightly against him. There were no words to speak, just raw emotion between them as their climaxes subsided. Once they broke the kiss he laid his head against her neck and panted to regain his breath. He felt the sweat rolling down his back and onto the seat, hoping to recover in time to at least do this one more time before he took her home.

Caitlin groaned and it wasn't until afterwards that she realized she'd been completely blank. Pleasant, peace filled and blank. Her head resting on James's shoulder, panting and yet comfortable, still impaled and cooling off a little though her body was still hot. She felt calm... her and her beast inside of her both felt sated and relaxed. Comfortable on top of him in the back of the thunderbird and waiting for the next moment.

Curled up in the backseat of the car he gently stroked her skin as they laid there. "You are amazing Caitlin." he whispered as they let the post orgasm glow subside. Freezing this minute in his mind making sure to remember everything about this. "So, umm can I interest you in spending a little more time here, perhaps out on the blanket?" he asked. Praying she said yes, or told him to take her back to his place.

"Blanket sounds good to me... as long as you have more than just one condom on hand. Let's snuggle." Caitlin grins at James. She was having a good time and like any true beast or wolf she liked getting close and being very close. Being together, cuddling soaking in the scent of what they were doing. Besides he was a great lay, for the few times Cait had ever actually gotten any, he was one of the best.

They got out and he spread the thicker blanket on the ground and once they were under the second with the condoms nearby. He pulled her close to cuddle like she wanted. The surf crashed against the rocks below and more stars started to show in the darkening sky. Holding her hand in his as they waited until desire perked back up. Turning he grinned at her and slid his hand down to touch her sex, wanting to see her eyes and reaction.
Caitlin grinned wolfishly and looked up at him, spreading her legs at his touch and putting her hand on his wrist to push his hand directly over her slit and her clit. If he was ready she was ready. She was almost always ready. Leaning forward she kissed his lips lightly before pulling back to watch his eyes. It was so strange being with a human and feeling so content like this. But she knew it couldn't last... humans took energy to fool and time to be with and she needed to work and save up money and get things done... this couldn't last... and it was weird he had a daughter... Cait wasn't a mom kind of person. Even if she was a better influence than any other woman in her life... Cait was still an animal.

He felt blood rush to his member and making him ready to couple with her again. Rolling over he slipped another condom on and began to sink inside her. Bringing his hands under her shoulders and pulling her back onto him fully. Leaning down he sought out her lips and began to thrust not only his hips but his tongue into her. As he groaned while their hips met, she was all he could imagine that would be good for Molly and himself.

Caitlin cried out into his mouth as their hips met forcefully enough the slap of flesh rang in her ears. It felt so good. He was so rough and so deep it was great and she clutched at him tightly and moved her hips harshly with his. Wrapping her legs around his hips tilting her ass up to accept him better it felt amazing. But this would never last. It was an odd pairing and she had her own dreams and couldn't let him take her over. Even though sex was great at which she moaned and cried continuously now.

He kept looking at her enjoying this as much as he was, leaning his head near he nipped her neck and smiled. James's hand slid along her hip to her thigh squeezing lightly. Kissing her neck and then slipping his tongue into her mouth, a third round might be out of the question but he would try if she wanted it. "Oh, ugh, Cait...lin..." he panted and gasped as they continued. The thrusts slowed a little bit and he was trying to keep from climaxing too quickly.

Caitlin groaned and cried out arching her body and thrusting her hips up against his climaxing again, her body pulling him tight against her and her hands grabbing his ass as her feet too pulled him tight and hard inside of her as she came her muscles clamping so hard around him inside of her. She was loving it. He was the best! Her eyes rolled up into her head a little and her entire body trembled at holding him tightly against and inside of her.

God she was strong and he loved how tightly she pulled him, kissing her mouth and moaning as her body began to draw the last of his semen from him. And as his climax subsided he began to kiss the same spot over her heart, there was almost no strength left to move anywhere else. Could she kill him like this, death by sex with Caitlin at least he'd have a smile on his face. "I know I keep throwing out 'amazing' a lot, but you really are, one in a million." James kept stroking her body; he wanted to keep his skin against hers as long as he could.

"Thanks... you’re not to bad yourself you know." Caitlin says a blush covering her face as she relaxed against him and around him and her hold on him. She hoped she didn't draw blood. Not that she would infect him it was just... she had to be careful. Complimented like she was it was very nice and she liked it a lot but.. he still had a daughter and she still had a life to keep on track. or start in any case.

They laid like that for sometime holding one another and watching the sky. He managed to look at his watch and grimaced, "Wow, its after 1 a.m. I hope Robin won't be cross with me. Cause it would be horrid if she said I couldn't see you again." he smiled at her and gently tweaked her nipple. Somehow he figured if Caitlin liked him then he'd see her again. Perhaps the next time they could take Molly somewhere perhaps the zoo.

"You should get back to your little girl... I've kept you out really late." Caitlin says instantly looking worried and pensive, though she had fun it was... well it felt almost awkward to her. Perhaps because he was a father... maybe because he had to explain everything to her on the pier... maybe because he wanted her to be something she couldn't right now? Whatever the reason she was feeling kind of awkward again and certainly not because she was naked in fact she stood up and stretched and smiled at feeling the wind over her body and the sound of the ocean below her down the cliffs.

He noticed the look and after getting to his feet wrapped his arms around her. "Molly has been in bed five plus hours by now, and we kept each other out. And for a first date this one ranks REALLY high up there." he said after kissing the nape of her neck. All he really hoped was that he wasn't bruised up when he went in to work tomorrow morning. "I wish I could offer you a shower before I took you home, unless you'd like to get one at my place?"

"No it's okay I like your scent." Cait says with a smile hugging the arms around her. He knew about her apprehension... but it didn't go away... and she didn't really want to go to his house after snooping like she had the other night. "You can just drop me off at Aunt Robin's place." Cait says with a smile as she half turns to look into his face. This was strange.. all these lies and half truths she was telling him.

He tipped up her chin and kissed her softly, "Ms. Caitlin, if you are concerned about what our pasts may come back to haunt us. No one is perfect and I know there are things I haven't told you and you haven't told me. Please don't let that keep us from seeing each other again." he hoped she understood what he was saying. When he let her go he went and gathered her clothes and knelt down holding her panties so to help her step into them. With a broad smile for two reason, one that he was a gentleman, and two because he wanted to touch her again.

Caitlin smiled softly he had no idea at all... but that was okay it was better that he know only so little about her... She stepped into the pants and put her hands on his shoulders not like she needed it for balance but just so she could feel his skin under her fingertips again. The scent of him was covering her and she loved it. but she was getting tired... not on full moons she usually went to bed pretty early so this was a very late night for her and she couldn't stop the yawn from happening but she did cover it with her mouth just in case it was rude.

He pulled them up her legs and planted a kiss on the stomach, then did the same for her jeans. "I am horrible at putting bras on, but a wiz at getting them off." he said with a smile. He stood up and put his boxers and shorts back on, followed by his tee shirt. The camp shirt he put on Caitlin when she finished, "So you don't get cold & you wanna drive back to your place?" He put the keys in her hand and smiled before stealing another kiss, he figured she would jump at the chance.

"You're really okay with me driving?!" Caitlin asks her entire body and face perky and lighting up. She just loved old cars and if he was gonna let her drive oh man she'd love it! Maybe... maybe she would make time for a second date or something... if she could... even though it was kinda weird. Caitlin was definitely going to be getting some great sleep tonight, after all the fun and then all the sex she even was getting to drive the thunderbird!

"Sure, I'm a cop right? Just don't go looking for another cop to blow by." Grinning at her obvious excitement about him handing her the keys. "If you remember I also offered you a chance to drive before you take your test or after if you like." He knew it was again bribery to see her again, but not illegal. James walked over to the driver's door and opened it for her with a mocking tone asked, "Well, we gonna get going or just stare at it all night?"

"I almost asked you the same question earlier." Cait teases before sliding into the seat and adjusting it to her height. Putting on her seat belt first and foremost, even though she would heal quickly from any kind of accidents. Or shifting that would fix anything other then decapitation or heart skewering. But better safe then sorry as Joe said. She smiled broadly up at James though, she was excited to drive and while it was tempting to speed and try this baby out she knew it was best to go speed limits. Especially when she didn't even have any kind of I.D.

He got into the other side and buckled his belt as well and then settled back to let her drive. "So where are we headed, and don't say Mexico." he asked after flipping the radio on. The cruiser station was playing some great tunes right now. Thurston Harris's "Little Bitty Pretty One" was currently playing and combined with the warm Santa Monica wind made the ride very pleasant. Every so often he looked over to see if she was having fun behind the wheel.

"Home to Aunt Robins. It's late enough and she'll worry, not only that but you have Molly to think about. We can't be out all hours of the night until dawn. It isn't right." Caitlin says softly even though that's more often then not what she did with Marcus, she was trying to get out of the old way of life and figure out a new one. Which was another reason this was actually really hard. But the feel of the car's engine and the wheel in her hands did a lot to calm her worries and let her enjoy the moment. Though she didn't know much about the roads and how to get to Aunt Robin's she'd figure he'd help her out there.

"Ok, do you remember the way?" he answered pointing out a turn to take to get them to the interstate. Molly would most likely still be asleep when he got home and tomorrow before heading to the PD they would switch the T-bird for the Explorer. James would have liked to have spent more time with her, even wake up beside her in the morning. He thought about inviting her to go to breakfast with him and Molly, but thought better of it. Being a nagging date and sexual partner would only keep her from dating him.

Caitlin smiled brightly at him, She loved driving this thing it was fantastic but she could see the thoughts in his eyes. His wants... his needs. and what he was looking for... what he thought she was. Marcus had taught her a lot about men and she had learned it all. Joe too... taught her to control herself and to be in control of herself. Soon enough they were in the driveway of Robin's house and Caitlin turned off the car. "Thanks for a good time James... it was a lot of fun." She says with a smile, her things were in the trunk so she pulled the switch for it to pop open. She wasn't sure what you were supposed to do at the end of dates but she sat in the driver’s seat feeling awkward and unsure.

He got out and grabbed her things before opening the door for her, "I'll walk you up to the house ok?" James offered her his hand and another smile, while he sometimes felt off balance around her. Tonight was a little more relaxed and fun, awesome would be a better word for it. He carried everything up to the door in silence, noting that Robin had left the front light on for Caitlin. "So, I guess this is goodnight then I had a lot of fun and would like to maybe do it again?" he said before leaning in for the goodnight kiss.

Caitlin leaned in and kissed him while taking her things from his hands at the same time. She was good at kissing so she knew he would be happy with it but... it was odd still... being on the doorstep and all now. "Well... goodnight." She says with a soft smile before opening the door and walking through it closing it behind her and leaning against it, listening intently.

"Someone up there likes me, because she is SOOO out of my league." he said with a large sigh. "Here's hoping I didn't screw it up." his phone interrupted anything else he might say. "Banner, yeah, uh huh. Well, I'm due into the office at 0930 and I'll call Diaz then." He began to walk away from the house still talking to whoever it was. The next sound she heard was the Thunderbird fire up and drive off into the night.

"So, did you have fun out with James?" Robin asked from the kitchen doorway. She was in her robe and had a small glass of milk in her hand, and had the smallest hint of a smile when she looked at Caitlin.

"He took me to a dock that had a fair on it. I got some stuff for you too if you wanted any... and he got me this purple stuffed wolf isn't it funny? Then we drove to a cliff and had lots of great sex.... But I'm kinda tired now... so I'll talk to you in the morning okay?" Caitlin said hanging the bag of candy to Robin and then taking the large stuffed wolf with her upstairs. She was glad it had gone well, though it was awkward most of the night and then the sex part cleared up some of it... But now she just wanted to sleep.

Before she made the top of the stairs Robin called up, "It must have been, you're wearing his shirt. And it looks very nice on you, probably a good reason to see him again. Thanks for the candy, I'm sure it is very good." she then walked to the study. She saw what was written on the bag, the Santa Monica pier and smiled remembering something from far away.

Caitlin blushed when she rushed to her room and realized she had taken his shirt and that it smelled like him... all musky and... full of James. It was then she felt a pang of loneliness for being surrounded by warmth and friendship and a pack. Preparing for bed quickly she put the stuffed creature in the corner cause it still smelled like the fair and she curled up under the bed wearing nothing but James shirt for the comfort of a male scent around her at least.
