I want you - yes, YOU - to draw (or manip) an illustration for a vignette of mine. Sometimes, an author just needs something to spice her stories up, and since I'm not the best artist around myself, I thought I'd ask other people - and, while I was at it, why not make it a contest? That way everyone will get something out of it. You can make it lineart or fully coloured, just as long as it's something you could imagine submitting for a real printed book.

At any one time, there will be only one vignette posted on this page. New rounds will commence for as long as I have stories to illustrate.

Rules
1. Submit your own work only. Collaborations are allowed.
2. Upload the image(s) to Elftown.
3. Credit the references and (in the case of photomanipulation entries) stock used.
4. One (1) entry per artist per round!
5. If you post the illustration anywhere else (Elfwood, deviantArt, etc.) please link back to the piece it was made for.

Judging & prizes
I will pick my personal favourite for each vignette. Aside from my everlasting gratitude, there will be a participant badge and individual winner badges. Winners may also request a poem/story.
