[iippo]'s Bunny-project.

My first contact with the White Rabbit Society was [Mom]. I frequented her house from a very early stage, and she had WRS-banners (the fursona with the carrot-whip, as well as her own fursona-portrait, Oracle) and I fell in love with the style of bunnification. When I ended up in the wiki and saw all the bunny-potrets, I was having an urge to draw bunnies. This was all the more added by my fanness of www.angryalien.com and their bunnies. When the WRS staged their Halloween contest "draw the bunnies," (Draw The Bunnies: Halloween) I was enthusiastic, but it was open for bunnies only, not for non-members or "gerbiles" like moi. But there was a little bit of lenience: you could be sponsored by a bunny. I expressed my will to draw bunnies, and [Rennie], the War Bunny who runs the contest, agreed to sponsor me. So off I went. To draw the bunnies in Halloween, a group portrait.

I decided to piece it together on the computer, so I only sketch on paper and colour with the computer. My university open access rooms have GIMP-program, and my uni art building will have Illustrator and PhotoShop, when uni starts agin on 3rd of October. I will do each of the current bunnies, all 19 of them, in Halloween costumes, themed "movies". I will save them as see-through GIFs here, as a kind of WIP-files, so in case anybunny would wish so, they'd be allowed to have their own fursona on its own as well as the full group-portrait.

I don't know how the bunnies will receive a gerbil's view on them, but I'll do it for the fun of doing fan art - because that's what this is - and with their permission, I'll put it in my EW-gallery as fan art.

GIMP makes the crappiest GIFs (and not even transparent) so I will save the WIPS as wiki-backgrounded JPGs.

UPDATE 2
Yes, I have returned to uni properly and am indeed having good access to PhotoShop again, as well as the illustrious Illustrator (I don't know if that is relevant really) and found out that GIMP saves stuff as .PSDs and therefore I can just put all separate bunnies on one document on their separate layers and move them around to be perfect for the background. Whee.

1. The Queen of Debauchery

The queen chose the costume of the number one vamp of the silver screen: Jessica Rabbit, from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.

2. Poison Tongue, the Speech Writer.

The Speechwriter, Soothsayer, Axe Grinder, Public Relations-bunny Delerium Poson Tongue took a liking to a costume that fits the green of his poisonous tongue and dressed as the intellectual dragon of Dragonheart.

3. Sir Crimson

What would Halloween be without transvestites? Well, we will never find out, for not one Halloween (or any other holiday for that matter) would pass without Sir Crimson keeping up the tradition. So naturally to this evening he chose the character from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

4. The Assassin

Dressed as Neo from The Matrix, only in the middle of a dangerous stunt he realises he's been played a fool by the Mischief Maker, who has stolen his uzis.

5. The Duchess

The Duchess dressed as Cruella DeVil from Hundred and One Dalmatians, hunting some spotted gerbils.

6. The Black Sheep-bunny

Confused as always, he dressed up as Father Christmas. XD

7. & 8. The Oracle and Master of Necromancy in the Gazebo of Broken Hearts

Mother Lust, the Oracle came to the party as Princess Leia from Star Wars, and in due time got a heart-melting confession of love from the Master of Necromancy, dressed as Indiana Jones. The Oracle, used to the attention of young men, waits him to finish so she can put him down gently, as she has done a million times before to similar young men.
Do you get the joke? Leia and Indy? XD

9. & 10. The Executioner and the Mistress of the Dungeon

Dressed as the ghost-twins from Stanley Kubrick's Shining, they call for a gerbil riding a tricycle to "come play with us."

11. & 12. Knights of Diamonds and Spades

Two of the knights dancing - maybe they're doing the Monster Mash - dressed up as Gail and Marv from Sin City.

13. & 14. Lord of Illusions and Prince of Hearts

To be spared from parting with his beloved bowler hat, the Lord of Illusions dressed up as Alex DeLarge from the cult classic A Clockwork Orange. He is offering a refreshing beverage from the Korova Milk Bar to the Prince of Hearts (dressed as Charlie Chaplin's Little Tramp), who gracefully declines (we all well know his disliking to milk :3).
