2005-09-17 [Rondel]: I'd love to comment more, but I've got to sleep. One thing, though...my husband had one other suggestion that might be easier to achieve than emancipation, especially given your other circumstances, Buddha: if you can get an adult (say, Kyle's parents) to sue for custody as foster parents, it's likely your parents wouldn't fight it, & you could get out faster & just as safely. The judge might be slower to grant emancipation to someone with outstanding probation AND a juvenile record -- but foster custody might strike them as a lot more sensible/appealing option. You could even argue that part of what has led to your record is your home environment, & you want to break free of all of it.

2005-09-22 [Rondel]: The musical form is what's called a "Talking Blues" (hence the song's title), so I suppose I could impart the tune simply by making a short .wav file of a single verse/chorus pair, to give people a feeling for the song. That, without any instrumental accompaniment, can be done using only my headset microphone... ...though the song really is best when the (rather basic) guitar accompaniment is included as well. What do y'all think? Do you want the lyrics now, with or without a simple vocal recording to go with them, or do you want to wait 'til we can give you a proper recording in MP3 form?

2005-09-23 [Azuri]: Hahaha i fell asleep as soon as the lights went out for a slide show! then i woke up when they were taking the offering and could barely keep my eyes open! hehe so my grandma sent me home to go to bed and i did and slept for the next 17 hours>.< i only woke up at 1:30 pm the next day only because there was food involved
