2010-12-20 [Skydancer]: quite an idea you have here... chuckle. :)
2010-12-20 [Eyden13]: *looks around*
2010-12-20 [wicked fae mage]: Feel free to brag. Everybody's doing it :P
2010-12-20 [Skydancer]: I take it you use a unique number in the rating tag?
2010-12-20 [wicked fae mage]: it's an srate tag and the denominator is the number of people who rated them
2010-12-24 [Eyden13]: how do you make the little rate boxes?
2010-12-25 [Eyden13]: thanks ^-^
2010-12-31 [Nekko fox]: Oh Mort, you delicious, nutritious, capricious, seditious, malicious dork, we love you.
2010-12-31 [Mortified Penguin]: If you know what's best for you, you'd better.
2010-12-31 [~*~Music Junkie~*~]: This is wicked ^^ nice idea, i am allways telling people about elftown, though they ushually never join... -.-
2011-01-11 [organicparadox]: this is a great grassroots effort. much love and success to you making have meaningful impact. i definitely try to treat every person i meet within elftown as a kindred spirit. maybe i can try to introduce ppl not in the community to join. good on ya mort
2011-02-04 [Queen of Hearts]: ET is much better than facebook. :) good luck to everyone
2011-02-05 [Mortified Penguin]: I don't think you can really compare the two, since they both serve completely different functions. Lucratively speaking though, Facebook has Elftown beat.
2011-02-05 [Queen of Hearts]: well facebook is a social networking site, it is where everyone checks up what theyre friends are up to etc. elftown is completely different and attracts a different crowd of people.
2011-02-05 [wicked fae mage]: You can compare them in certain respects, but it would be more fair to compare facebook, myyearbook and myspace since they all have the same purpose.
You can prefer facebook because it has certain things like instant chatting and Elftown doesn't. You can prefer Elftown because you hate getting invited to apps and games where other sites are mostly about apps and games.
It all depends on the criteria that you are judging.
2011-02-05 [Mortified Penguin]: Well, Elftown does sort of have instant chatting: http://elftown
2011-06-11 [Skydancer]: Would these be Moray Eel or Electic Eel badges, smiles, and we need more participants.
2011-06-11 [~Valkyrie~]: Well, I was going to participate...
2011-06-11 [Ravendust]: Isn't it just srate in the <> brackets? I remember not knowing how to do it and asking someone about it.
2011-06-12 [Mortified Penguin]: Yeah, just <srate> should work.
2011-06-12 [~Valkyrie~]: Hmmm... Thanks
