Cem Kenan Magripli lives in Istanbul, Turkey. [
spincrus], his general name everywhere on the internet, is half Turkish, half Austrian. And at the age of 22 he has achieved quite a lot: he has earned a BA in International Relations, minoring in Economics and Anthropology, in the Johns Hopkins University (USA). His hobbies include: SCUBA diving, studying photography, computer gaming, etc.
Living in Turkey, he has a more realistic perspective of Turkish citizens and, when being asked about the Turkish-stalki
ng in Elftown, he said that "not everyone's an Elftown stalker here". He also explained his point of view on the subject: "Like many other cultures, sexuality is quite suppressed here in Turkey I find (...) the more you go towards the East (or inland, to rural areas), the cultures start to get more conservative and healthy sexual relations can't be formed. (...) there are literally millions of internet cafes in Turkey so everyone has access to the internet (...) Oh, don't get the impression that they are not harrassing Turkish girls on the street! That's their primary hobby."
[spincrus] found Elfwood and then Elftown as many others in this community. He likes fantasy and he appreciates all its forms: written fantasy, images, etc. For his graphics and pictures he uses Paint Shop Pro mostly, a drawing tablet and his beloved digital camera. Favorite Wiki: "I love the whole wiki concept, and although it's not [Hedda]'s original idea, it's a very original thing to apply such a concept to an active community. I have to say, though, one of the wikis with the most open minded, funny and naughty (hehe) people is definitely The Sith Lords. I mean, what the heck is a "Sith Moogle" anyway? Love the place."
Favorite House: "[GregowicH], she was a featured member some time ago (...) Not only is she quite talented, the characters up on her house really resemble her :) Oh, of course, how could I forget: [Paul Doyle]. This guy has a very unique sense of humour and is quite creative. [spiritee] and [evilhamster] (I still believe they're soul twins or something) are also among my favorites. [Linn Scarlett]'s house is another one I love to stop by once in a while."
Critique/comments/suggestions on ET: "New features on houses! Like new fantasy race personas, more fantasy-related themes for the site overall. And a competition to prepare a map of the town! The winner might even be displayed on the mainstreet, with specific buildings being linked to specific pages and stuff (using image mapping)! I think that'd be great!"
Message to all the Elftowners: "Don't be afraid and just expose yourself! (erm, not in THAT way!). I believe we're pretty much becoming more like a family here on ET, with so many members meeting outside ET (and having met on ET), with so many people bringing their friends to ET, etc. Just relax and be yourself, and don't be shy to publish your art! Critique is a good tool for learning, you know :). Oh, and DONATE!"
