LARP makeup

So I'm terrible at this sort of thing. I much prefer my "About Me"s to be more tailored to whoever I'm talking with... It flows better that way, and I don't sound so arrogant, or stiff or whatever. I can't fit myself into any one category or stereotype. (Which, in my opinion, is a good thing. Far better to keep people guessing. Mwahahahaha.) For example, I enjoy video games, but have a huge makeup collection. I love Disney songs, but my favorite band is a power metal band. I'm intelligent, but I've said some pretty stupid things (I think my best one was telling my brother that "A strawberry is not a banana...") I taught gymnastics, but I'm extremely clumsy (walking into doors, walls, poles, tripping over nothing, etc.) I'm very artsy (painting, photography, writing) but I also love science (Biology, anyone?)

Oh. And I'm a geek. I'm a huge geek. I LARP, I get into drunken arguments about Elvish grammar, I play tabletop RPGs from a wide variety of systems, and I once made a Vampire: The Requiem character for the Phantom of the Opera. If I were I guy, I probably would have played him in my LARP.

I'm close to shameless. I can talk about pretty much anything, and be pretty blunt. I have tact when I choose to use it, but more often than not, I find that dancing around a subject leads to confusion. I prefer to avoid it and just say what I'm thinking. However, don't think I don't have morals. And standards. Be crude and inappropriate with me at your own risk. I'm not saying don't flirt, but at least be creative and tasteful about it. I do not want a picture of your dick, I do not want a message saying "ur hot" and nothing else, I do not want your spelling to look as if you had a seizure and your head happened to smash the keyboard. At least, I don't want these things if you're looking for a reply. By all means, send me those messages. They will be promptly deleted. Get to know me better, your flirting (and my responses) will be far more satisfying, I promise.

Personally, I think I'm a pretty interesting person with some pretty interesting stories. I'd love to meet people who can accept the fact that I'm unusual (you'd be surprised at the number of people who can't) and have at least something in common with me (shouldn't be too hard.... I have a very wide variety of interests, and love playing Devil's Advocate. :) )

However, if you're closed-minded, willfully ignorant and/or intolerant, I respectfully request that you not waste my time. (Is it hypocrisy to be intolerant of intolerance? Hmmm... strange....) I'm always up for an intelligent debate, about almost anything under the sun, but please, put thought into what you believe in. I may not agree, but at least I can respect you.
