2006-06-25 [Hedda]: Well... I think it's much better to write something that people will remember than to write boring shit like every other book does.
2006-07-03 [Little Red Ridinghood]: ^^ nice!! virkelig.. svensk er et nydelig språk.. jupp jupp.. og det er norsk også! og dansk! og se! vi har en svensk-dansk-n
2006-07-03 [Hedda]: I don't think that's a releated wiki-page really, but as long as your comments stays here, you'll have the link here ;)
2006-07-05 [Viperess]: Okay after reading and hearing the different links I am ready to attempt to learn. I love the way the Swedish language sounds, even after you have had a bottle of wine. :)
2006-08-20 [m3_di]: Do you pronounce 7 "huj"? I thought it was something like "shju" :S
2006-08-21 [Hedda]: No, 7, is pronounced "sju", just as it's spelled.
Hear the soundfile on svenska tal mm!
2006-08-21 [Hedda]: I get why you might think that though:
"sj" is pronounced in the middle of Russian Ха and Шa (Same as German doch and Stadt). That is: A harder (more in the back) English "sh".
U is not "uj". It's somewhere between Finnish U and Y, or Russian У and Ы, and therefore sounds like that to you. Just pronounce it as a Dutch U ;)
2006-08-21 [m3_di]: So it's like "Shu/y"? :D
2006-08-22 [Faery]: Damn! I've been in Sweden for over a week and I still can't pronounce correctly, even if I spend entire days listening to people speaking swedish around me! I'll never be able to learn! :'(
2006-08-23 [Hedda]: People have been here for years and can't still pronounce it correctly. But it's good enough if you're close. Just learn a lot of words and you'll get a hang of it.
2006-10-22 @Not logged in user@: hey this is cool you get to talk even if you are not a logged in user!! hey every1 ti [@146944]
2006-11-12 @Not logged in user@: that site is great ;) and swedish is a very nice language :p tack så mycket to the people who made it ;) i`ve just started with the language - by myself and you`ll help me a lot ;) hearing the sound is maybe the most importan thing for swedish
2007-05-31 @Not logged in user@: My name is Dalia. I just visited your website, which certainly offers references that are an invaluable tool.
I've just compiled a glossary collection of Swedish-English / English-Swedish dictionaries which I thought you might be interested in sharing with your site visitors. The collection of dictionaries provides clear and precise translations and it is absolutely free of charge.
Basically, "Look up" is a search-box (like Google) but it's focused on both the English and Swedish languages. Here's the link to it http://www.babylon.com/define/121/swedish-english-dictionary.html .
You may also browse each and every glossary by simply clicking on its title.
Feel free to use it and should you have any feedback, I would be happy to hear from you.
Hope you enjoy the glossary collection and I'd appreciate if you could mention this on your site by including a link.
Kind regards,
Dalia Preisler

2007-06-05 [Hedda]: Sorry, @not logged in user@, but I don't find those dictionaries anyway near good.
2007-11-05 [Hedda]: That's not Swedish...
2009-01-08 [Hedda]: I haven't learn to make book-links there yet though. I should check to see if it's cheaper there.
2009-09-18 [Hedda]: Grrr! All the exercises links were broken. Damn people who are destroying the web!
