In this case these competitions were not created for this wiki, because they already existed. But I added a link to those main pages now.
New competitions will especially be created for this wiki though :)
And we're looking for people who can help out!

A first contest that we could start with is St. Patrick's Day.
March 17th is the celebration day, so that should give enough time to get it organised! :)

2008-02-01 [Sunrose]: Aye, but some time ago we thought it would be better to keep contests open all year. That way passersby can submit whenever they want to, and hopefully this leads to more participation.
We select one winner per year, in the days before the festival date..

I know the dutch Elftowners are wanting/planning to meet each other at some point for example.
You can always try to find Elftowners that don't live far away as well, and set up a meeting yourself. :)

we could have a main wiki to collect all the individual wikis of the small areas... say either by country ... or for the larger countrys like the states and canada by local areas... like sou-cal or GTA. than people sign their names up for the areas they live in.
