General information

My name is Laura, but you may just call me Mitsuki. I have been a member of Elftown now for about four years, give or take a few months in between. In my experiences as an Elftown member through the years I will admit that I have made some stupid mistakes, like breaking the uploading art rules a few times back when I was an Elftown novice but that is all behind me and I have long since changed my evil ways (and I also now understand why it is so important to have uploading art rules, I also know just how much it hurts to have your art taken from you without prior permission.)

More general information

During my time here at Elftown (once I matured enough to be of use to anyone and not just want to upload pictures and talk to people) I make use of myself by helping my friends improve their wiki pages, listening to council chatter to keep up-to-par with what is going on here at ET, helping anyone who needs help with uploading, creating wiki pages, editing peoples stories and supporting my friends to be more active in ET contests and polls. I also spend time up keeping my many wiki pages, and creating Elftown polls (since it is just so much fun.) 



Elftown knowledge and involvement

As for my Elftown knowledge skills I am an active participant in almost every contest that goes down here on ET (albeit I am a tad impatient at times while waiting for the results.) I also participate in polls, view featured member houses, read the daily poem on a daily basis, have read (and even broken a few of the uploading art rules in the past though I am deeply sorry for it and shall NEVER do it again.) I have also participated in a few forums (mostly the how-to ones) in order to figure out a few things I did not quite understand.



English/Grammar/Writing and reading!

I am a very literate individual though I do sometimes make minor spelling and grammar mistakes. I immediatly fix any mistakes that I find when I write, and fix any mistakes that others find in my writing as well (I am all for constructive criticism). I love the English language (though not as much as I love Italian) and my passion is writing and reading as well so I always try to treat the language with respect, thought I have been know to use LOL quite a lot because laugh out loud just does not sound as good.



Goals

My main goal for Elftown and the one that I hold to the highest regard is simple; help people as much as the council has helped me through the years. Weather people need my help to create wikis, manage contests, create polls, start forums, monitoring differnt wiki's or any other form of work Elftown needs to be done. I want the ability to help people (or in some cases point them in the right direction with detailed explanations) on how to upload pictures, create wikis, explain to people what the Daily poem format is and why it should be used when participating in official contests. Though when I think about it I have that ability now, of course being a council member seems much more glorified.



Elftown worth

As for proving my Elftown worth I shall keep it short, sweet and simple. I have many wiki's and have made quite a few polls though I will cut it down to a few of my favorites.
I am the owner of the military dog which is an FMA fan site.
I posted my story confessions of Yagami, Hikari here on Elftown, though I am in the middle of re-writing it.
I created Jaraden's wiki page for my friend [jaraden] who did not know how to create a wiki and did not quite understand my explination (it is quite difficult for a beginner.)
I own five personal sites including twilights poems and random info about twilight
 I am in the middle of creating the unholy city - A high-class RPG for mythical creatures.
I assist my friend with twilight fanclub which belongs to [LinkTurrner] and I created the twilight fanclub RPG for the twilight fanclub
To end my long boring list of wiki's I will add that I am in the process of creating a wiki which shall be called Dragon on the moon productions (named after my promo for an anime/manga publishing company) and its primary function will be to directly assist people in fixing up their houses. I have made three so far, my own of course, the house of [William Christian Inuma] and [Haku Uchiha] and have gotten wonderful feedback so I decided to branch out and help anyone who wants to be helped. It has not been unveiled yet, seeing as I have not got it quite right.

None of my polls have been made official, and mostly deal with opinions on what I draw. I also have a wiki of art (both my own and gifts that I have gotten through the years) which is posted in my house, so I know all about the uploading process (and I know the uploading art rules well after a lot of trial and error.) I have not made a forum but I have participated in a few of them, so I know how the work.

I have just finished my interactive fan site Code Geass; for the fans! and all affiliated attached WIKI's. It is a major WIP.



Elftown worth Part 2

I'm back, and this time...with weapons. No seriously though, this section is where I will list my duties as a newly instated Elftown council member.

1. I am the modorator for the ECM unicorn poetry page and will continue to mod the ECM poetry pages.

2. I am also brainstorming and will more than likely start modding the EPRM

3. I am still working on my 'test section' for the Town Herald which I can't seem to get quite right just yet...

4. Created The Unconventional Games contest! to run this summer along side the Et photography contest which I have not only faffed but am modderating as well.




Reporting and exc.

I report people to the guards when I find that it is necessary, whether their page be full of blatant pornography (and I know the difference between porn and art unlike some ignorant people that I have come across through the years), they have violated the uploading art rules, or if they use unnecessarily crude language. I also report anyone who asks to cyber with me (which I have luckily only had to do once.)

I enjoy shifting through random members, just for the sole purpose of seeing their houses and what they have written. I do think that some members should be banned from Et for being 'MySpace wannabe's' so to speak and for blatant disregard to the rules, but I also believe that everyone should be given a chance.



My goals should I become an Elftown council member

As a member of the Elftown crew I will do what is necessary. I shall help where help is needed, I shall serve the almighty [Hedda] and work to assist and better [Hedda]'s brainchild formaly known as Elftown. I can accomplish anything I set my mind to (though that is a terribly corny thing to say.) I am willing to do what I need to do, wherever I am needed, so long as it is in my abilities (and even then I shall try my absolute best!)

I plan on being a permanent member of Et, though I am sure after many, many years of serving as a dedicated council member I will retire as some of the council members have done through the years, but it will not be for a long time yet.



I love Elf12!
I am also a council member on the heddate site called Elf 12. On Elf12 I am the only poem boss for the daily poem, a featured member boss and featured house boss, I am also a writing winner after winning the What happens next contest and attempting to become one of the adoptables bosses.



My (limited) Elftown accomplishments

1. I am a donator to the daily poem after getting two poems posted to main street (and I posted about twelve to the site that are pending.)
2. I participated in the halloween poetry competition in 2007 and again in 2008.
3. I am a donator of writing after writing a poem for the EMC fariy/fae competition and after participating in the magic written contest for newbies.
4. I have also participated in the saint valentine poets competiton in 2007.
5. I am a donator of art
6. I take pictures for refernce photos
7.I am also a Christmas photographer
8. And a halloween painter
These are merely the badges that I have received so far. I have participated in most creatures in the creature marathon. I shall participate in the Christmas and Saint Valentine competitions to come, as long as the EMC werewolf competion and the EMC elf competiton. This is all that I have when it comes to official (in the eyes of the ET community) accomplished to this date, so far that is.





To the crew!

I am if-not-friends at least acquainted to six or seven council members and love to chat, listen to their conversations, watch how they deal with Elftown members in order to gain more experience and harass them about the specifics of their jobs (not litterally, of course.) Though I do not just know council members (they are just the ones that I know the most of), and don't mind any of the crew, even if they are a little crabby due to the stress of their jobs! I know that they need to do what is necessary and would be honored to work beside my friends in the crew.



My well rounded point?

I am an active member of Elftown and have been wondering about joining the council for some time now, but have never really thought that I had what it takes until now, of course. I have done a lot of growing up in the past three or four years and know that I would be an asset to [Hedda], Elftown, and the other members of the Elftown crew. I know the rules, the true purpose of the site and am ready and willing to help make Elftown the best that it can be! (Or, since ET is already the best in my opinion, maintain it at that level.)
