Basically in short, Paganism is the worship of Nature through mutiple Gods/ Goddesses, who usually take the shapes of a Lord and Lady. The Pentagram itself also comes from Nature - I have read somewhere that the seeds of the Rowan berry are naturally placed in the form of a Pentagram. Many people connect Paganism with Devil-worship/ Satan but this could not be further from the truth: most of us have peaceful spiritual Paths and use the guidence of the Lord and Lady in our every day lives.

It is up to the individual to decide and trust in what they believe in, but beliefs do change as your journey progresses. Wow, I've said quite a bit there, it seemed a bit messy, sorry.
