While real sufferers from depression and self harm got grouped up with them and thus neglected. So we're rather wary that when someone comes out and admits, without invitation, that they've been bundled off to the hospital because they tried to kill themselves. To be frank it strikes me that they've been watching far too much Girl Interrupted, and are generally lying.

I could be wrong, there is always that possibility. But your mannermism Kitten, smacks of a pretender. And I really don't like them, as you can see.

I agree with Dela on the whole attention thing because while I don't tell many people I myself am someone who self harms but I am not a cutter. Ever since I was young when I get extreemly depressed or angry or frustrated I'll hit myself or I'll bit my hand and you may not think this counts as self harm but it does.

The general public at large seems to think only cutting qualifies and I have a huge hate for pretenders because they downplay those that actually need help.

Listen kiddo, you need to toughen up online, you're going to get a lot of this if you go around shouting your mouth off that you're self harming and mommy put you in a loony bin (I get to call it that I was in one, although they called it "eating rehab") and you're going to top yourself because the people online were mean. Look at the wiki content. I've made myself an internet reputation for ripping people a second, third and fourth arse hole.

I try to be nice to new people that come to the wiki, I really do. But when you start bringing your personal drama to the place, without anyone asking you anything, we're going to either laugh at it, or jump on it like cats on to helpless prey. And we all know what evil bastards cats are.

So you can stay and try and learn something, or you can go and we wont really care. And if you tell people I'm mean, or that my readers are mean, I guarantee you no one will give a damn. The entire wiki is "mean" I make no pretense at being a genuinely nice person. I make death threats and raving mad denouncements and that if I was given a shot gun the world would be a slightly better cleaner place. And genuinely mean it.

You don't see any of us going about complaining about our lives now do you? Because face the facts - you have not met any of us in real life. We can be friends, yes, but you haven't been here that long to be spouting off issues when we don't know if they are fact or fiction.

And as for cutting - if you were suicidal trust me you'd find other ways then to cut yourself. A few of us have walked that road so don't be pulling that bull in here. I know lots my husband is trying to do such a thing (sooo skinny at 120lbs I hate him XD) Have you tried whey protein(tastes like chocolate, he got it from GNC, get the complex it takes longer for the body to process)? He takes one before he works out(muscle building) one right after and one before bed. You have to eat more calories than your body can burn off in a day so sometimes it can be hard if you have a ridiculously high metabolism. Id try http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/index.html for some tips I've found them reliable in the past for tips on putting on muscles (I assume you dont want to gain fat) and so it might help ya :)

I've been trying to put on weight for a while and I keep losing instead of gaining ;_; it's to the point my doctor is using the excuse that if I go under 100lbs she may have to send me to a clinic. (I'm currently at 103lbs) About 2 years ago I was 120 - and all the weight I've lost was done without trying, it's getting frustrating.

Such as my BC and the medication I just recently started having to take in order to keep breathing. (I hear it's mandatory if you want to stay alive, lol)

2008-10-08 [Azuri]: My husband only recently made it to 120lbs(hes been around 110/105 his whole life) and its the most hes ever weighted, he has trouble keeping his weight up because of his metabolism. He weight trains to get bigger and so far hes seen amazing results so give it a whorl and keep in mind that you should probably switch work outs every 2 weeks or so because if you dont your body gets used to it and does hardly anything for you after that.

2008-10-08 [The Naiad]: I don't think joining the gym will do much good. You do need to build muscle mass, yes, but you need to increase your calorie intake too, otherwise you'll just loose more weight instead of converting your energy into muscle and fat.
I find I always put on weight if I'm eating more calories. But you might find it impossible to gain weight if you have a thyroid problem anyway, as that will prevent it.
Christmas is always good for putting on weight for most people - me included!

2008-10-09 [Azuri]: Well a gym is more than just weight loss, there are lots of bodybuilding gyms where you put on muscle, we had Golds and Dinos (fairly inexpensive too) in GA and they had a ton of free weights and whatever you really needed. I wouldnt suggest a ton of cardio but a bit is good for you.

our gym(Planet Fitness) is only 25 bucks a month for black card 19 for regular but with black card you get free use of tanning beds and everything plus a free guest every day which is awesome cause I go with my husband which proves that not all gyms are expensive :P Our gym is NICE too all brand new things but mostly geared toward weight loss. Still has free weights but you should see their cardio machines, tv on every one of them lol.

2008-10-09 [Flisky]: I live in the middle of nowhere, so hikes are about the only excersize we get around here. I walk to the pond (which is about 2 miles from my house) and back once every other day. When I don't have to work, of course.

2008-10-09 [Azuri]: Walking and eating healthy will only do so much for so long, trust me I plateaued at 255 with that and now have to kick up my exercise at the gym to include more than just walking. Not to mention walking wont exercise all of what you want and unless you power walk isn't really effective at all.

My friend Dustin lost over 100lbs in a year and then started putting it back on in muscle and walking was part of that yes because he walked to the gym but you need more than that. If you can't afford a gym membership get a cardio Dvd(or find it on the internet^_^) or some hand weights, they are very inexpensive and very helpful.

And if walking is what you still wanna do well there are always leg weights :) We just gave our 10lbs leg weights to our neighbor because she power walks on her lunch around her workplace(6 rounds! I wanna be 51 and be able to do that!) and you can remove the little sand bags to start out at different weights its really handy.

@ [CelticMoon] Doo EET! Water aerobics is soooooooooooooooooo much fun I wish I could find a place around here that had it! Right now i'm trying to find places that offer Tai Chi and Yoga though ^_^

(I've got from a 36B up to a 36C and then up to a 38 in a fairly short time span, I'm still trying to get enough new bras to keep the "girls" supported) I didn't realise however that it had padding inside, so when I put it on my vision was promptly blocked out by my basoomas eclipsing all of the surrounding area and also quite possibly the sun.

Why on earth would you want something that pushes your tits up to your neck? Surely that can't be any more good for them than not supporting them at all?

I went back to the section to see if they had the bra sans padding (it was a really nice colour that iWanted) and was horrified to find the double D's straight through to the double Gs also had padding. I mean...Why? Who the hell looks at a double G (double G ffs!) and thinks "hmm needs moar."

2008-10-26 [Flisky]: Because I'm so tall, I don't really have back problems due to my bust. I'm too proportional. If I were shorter, I would be smaller. My doc told me though if I wanted to be smaller, do triangle pushups. It works that muscle underneath them and pulls them up and reduces the size. I did it and went from a DD to a D.

But I do know that pushups decrease your size...So don't do pushups.

I'm at 250 right now and a 46DD but I used to be 42DD when I was around 180 back in middle school which at least I can find bras for that size in walmart or some retailer.

2008-10-31 [Delladreing]: This Hallows Eve for me will be a quiet one. At about 11pm I'll climb out my top floor window and shimmy my way down the drainpipe and sneak out from the village grounds. I'll make my way over the moors, my boots crunching over the frozen ground and I'll stand for a while at the crossroads under the crescent moon, waiting to see if anyone else turns up. Regardless of whether they do or not I'll leave a small offering there for the dead that walk the crossed roads and continue on in to the woodland, following the ley lines through the forest and over the farm land before reaching the point where the standing stones jut out from the ground. I might be the first there, or I might be a late comer. Either way we'll all step in to the space between the stones and raise a drink in honour of the dead.

And then we'll bugger off home the same way we came. Like I said, fairly quiet night.

That is of course if I can find my old boots, and make it out the window without freezing to death.
