2005-06-11 [Zab]: ok, as long as it stays with plotting..
2005-06-11 [JWOlette]: for me it will stay as plotting but i cant promise anything for my older brothers and friends
2005-06-11 [Zab]: ..ok, I don´t want to know more.
2005-06-11 [JWOlette]: ok so how is your summer vacation comming along
2005-06-11 [Zab]: fine..almost *lol*
2005-06-11 [JWOlette]: what do you mean almost
2005-06-11 [Zab]: nuthing, just little things. It´ve been one of those days everything is wrong.
2005-06-11 [JWOlette]: im having one of those weeks were you just wanna kill someone so yeah i know the feeling
2005-06-11 [Zab]: ok.
2005-06-11 [Azuri]: heh i know that feeling i wanna commit sororaside! stupid kids....
2005-06-12 [Rondel]: Ohhhhh, [Zab], thou knowest not what thou dost... Poking a sleeping [Delladreing] is *NOT* the recommended (survivable) way of dealing with one's nasty moods... *chuckle*
2005-06-12 [Zab]: O.o Oh! Frekish language! Well, I´m still alive...I think *check my pulse* oh nooo! ..ah, there I feel it..
2005-06-12 [Rondel]: *doesn't have a summer vacation, woke up from a screaming nightmare, & is currently doubled over in pain, unable to eat* Now you know why I don't tend to engage in light conversation of the "how's it going" variety. On the positive side, um, um, I got to take photos of the kangaroos in the next lot over, recently... ...oh, and thanks to our return to wood heat, I get to spend a fair amount of my time playing with -- er, I mean building and maintaining -- the fire. :) And my husband is discovering that he likes drawing with charcoal, of which we now have an ongoing supply. There, I found something in my glass to be happy about. Even if it took repeatedly getting a smaller glass... ;/
2005-06-12 [Zab]: O.O ok. Hope you can use a bigger glass soon..*lol* I have summer holiday, a creek to swim in and soon the lovliest horse in the whole world to play with in my eh..backyard..
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: Rondel speaks wisely, the act of poking a tired Dela in abad mood is nothing if not an act of suicide ;)
2005-06-12 [Zab]: hehe, ok...I´ll only poke you when you´re tired in a good mood then..
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: thats margianlly better i suppose
2005-06-12 [Zab]: hehe...you mean I shouldn´t poke you?
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: most people dont attempt it for fear of loss of limb and life but i suppose you could get away with it occasioanlaly
2005-06-12 [Zab]: Really? Why´s that?
2005-06-12 [Zab]: I feel that I´m starting to be annoying, so I´ll just come back when I´m less crazy.^_^
2005-06-12 [a faerie tale]: Ah no, we're all mad here.
2005-06-12 [Zab]: you are? well, I´ll go anyhow^_^ bye!
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: everyone is mad to some extent, its what makes us all sane funnily enough
2005-06-12 [Zab]: ...okiii...did
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: thats pretty much what i just said lol. people try to conform to this idea of normality, but there is no such realy thing, everyone has their little quirks that make them who they are and sometimes these are mistaken for ecentricities (sp?) and therfore do not conform to this fictional idea of what normality should be...my sudden and strange rants and musings are a good example of this ;)
2005-06-12 [Zab]: ^_^yeah..what to say? You´re right. I´m un-normal and I´m proud of it!
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: *chuckles* glad to hear it
2005-06-12 [Zab]: ...any new (or old) subject to discuss?
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: *sigh* not really, other than the fact i feel like im being seriously criticised for my work on EP on the magasine not a lot
2005-06-12 [Zab]: what kind of work is that?
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: EPI magasine, i ran it fopr this month, and they cut the wages as they "were not impressed" *mutters*basta
2005-06-12 [Zab]: hmm..poor you...those people are wierd..I´m sure it was great.^_^
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: lol thanks
2005-06-12 [Zab]: you´re welcome. ^_^
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: :)
2005-06-12 [Zab]: ok..dead end again*lol* why does every talk end like this? I have a new poem in my house...
2005-06-12 [Rondel]: *has no idea what EPI magazine is, but feels for [Delladreing] -- and if he keeps up poking Dela, feels for [Zab] -- still, we all have to learn somehow, I suppose... LOL* I quite agree with you both on the sanity issue -- reminds me of a song of my husband's called "I Go Sane".
2005-06-12 [Zab]: hm..was it me you caalled 'he'? *sigh, not again* lol.
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: because that is the way of things, when all conversation fails try a smiley
2005-06-12 [Zab]: lol, yeah, but the smiley usually results in another smiley that results in another smiley that results in smileys taking over the world! *lol*
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: its the attack of the smileys! run for your liiivveess!!! *gods im bored*
2005-06-12 [Zab]: *laughs out really tired and joyful* me too..
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: *sigh* oh god i need to do more work on ep...meh!!
2005-06-12 [Zab]: don´t ask god about it, just decide weather you should do it or wait.*lol* and good luck.
2005-06-12 [Delladreing]: lol good point :p
2005-06-12 [Zab]: I know, I´m good.*lol*
2005-06-12 [a faerie tale]: Good luck indeed.
2005-06-12 [Zab]: wiccan path it seems to me (who to be fair only read till the banner) that it isn´t serious..Oo 'a mystic lady comes to you...take spells and give spells''...
2005-06-12 [a faerie tale]: .........?
2005-06-12 [Zab]: *shrugs* nothing important.
2005-06-13 [a faerie tale]: Still confused.
2005-06-13 [Zab]: on the page they have the intro that a mysterious looking young lady tells you something...Oo and they says that the page is (partly) to exchange spells... e_e
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: ...nothing wrong with that i suppose if its part RP...i know some of the wicca pages are like that...bit if they start handing out wrong info and stuff then i will possibly say hello
2005-06-13 [Zab]: don´t think it´s a rp, *shrugs* but they only show the wiccan rede and such..
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: hmm possibly under construction
2005-06-13 [Zab]: *shrugs* yeah. I´m working on a story...in my house. But it´s not finished yet.
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: i am considering starting a new wiki here, but im sort of swamped over on EP just now -_-
2005-06-13 [Zab]: hehe, what kind of wiki?
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: not sure, just a wiki lol
2005-06-13 [Rondel]: Sorry about the sex change, [Zab]; I get a lot of that myself, so I know how annoying it can be, and I sincerely apologize. Of course, given the flakiness of my memory (which rivals a croissant and baklava, both), I don't guarantee that I won't get it wrong again, but I'll try not to, and I can't say fairer than that. :) (Oh no, now I'm helping the smileys! Run, run for your life! It's too late for me, they've got me, and are pulling up the corners of my mouth with skyhooks, but perhaps you can still escape them! ... No, looks like most of you didn't make it... *chuckle* ...sorry... *unrepentant*)
2005-06-13 [Zab]: hehehe--SMILEY
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: i get that too...although not in real life as its fairly obvious im female lol (not to brag or anything ^_-) and thanks Zab and Rondel dont worry about it, we all have our flakey moments, mine just occured on EP when i threatened to fire three entier sections!
2005-06-13 [Zab]: ...O.O ooh! fire! *lol* good luck anyway.
2005-06-13 [JWOlette]: hey everyone was up im soo hapy im single again lol
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: ooh yay then...
2005-06-13 [JWOlette]: yeah but my uncle scott had to threaten to take police actions if he didnt stop calling and harrassing me
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: eeeh not so good
2005-06-13 [JWOlette]: yeah he called my house over a hundred times yesterday!!!
2005-06-13 [Delladreing]: O.O" good lord
2005-06-13 [JWOlette]: yeah my uncle was really pissed cuz hes staying with me while my parents are away for another week i just dont have anything to say to him and i dont owe him any thing he knows why i broke up with him but he keeps pushing me he came over yesterday and that when i broke up with him and he slaped me across the face for it... i dunno why i did it nicly i just told him it was over cuz i hear too much shit about him and im tired of it
2005-06-13 [Rondel]: Yay for your uncle!!! And, if you'll take a little free advice from a stranger who's been there, don't make that an empty threat. Any more contact, outside of strictly unavoidable contexts like school or whatever, GO TO THE POLICE, and get the anti-stalking order, not just the restraining order. He's already committed assault, and one difference between the two types of orders is that the record will follow him if you get the anti-stalking order. This isn't just some lovesick puppydog leaving broken-hearted answering machine messages, this is serious, and not something to take lightly, blow off, minimize, or "just let go of" -- this guy's dangerous. Goddamn but I hate guys who do that...
2005-06-13 [Rondel]: Oh, and document the heck out of every single contact. Records like that can mean the difference between getting the protection you deserve, and not having the evidence to do so.
2005-06-13 [a faerie tale]: That happened to a friend of mine I knew.
2005-06-14 [Rondel]: Happened to me, too, if you hadn't guessed -- that's why I know so much about the process. Of the ways to spend one's birthday, getting an anti-stalking order because someone's put a number of bullets through the walls of one's friend's house is not my personal favourite; in fact, it doesn't even make the list. Oddly enough, though, that incident didn't shake me up as much as the other one in my collection; probably because I wasn't the primary target that time, and the person didn't have a really nasty & increasing record of criminal violence. But on the other hand, it does point out that one doesn't have to have the record to be capable of committing an act of violence the first time.
2005-06-15 [JWOlette]: ive been stalked so many times ive gotten used to it which is a really bad thing but none of the others have gone this far and when uncle scott threatened them they stoped but i have a feeling this will last for a while at least untill uncle scott and greg get ahold of him and make him wish he were never born and thanks for the advise i may just have to do it if the threat of death doesnt work T.T X.X
2005-06-15 [Azuri]: O.O wow stalked?! that sounds so scary im glad iv never had to deal with it.
2005-06-15 [Delladreing]: i have, but it only lasted as long as a month ago, he ran away when he found out the girl he was stalking was a witch....somet
2005-06-15 [Zab]: what´s 'stalked'?
2005-06-15 [Delladreing]: to be followed about and harassed by unwelcome people
2005-06-15 [Zab]: ok. Never been that.
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: In my case, it involved death threats, which I took seriously since they followed repeated violent assaults, but stalking can be a bit less severe than that; regardless, it's still pretty serious, and should be treated that way, *especially* when the person shows signs of a controlling or violent nature, or commits any form of assault (as with the slap [JWOlette] described above). I do know what you mean, about "getting used to it" -- but that's why I only count the two incidents in which things got to the point where I had to get police protection (for what that's worth... *sigh*). [Delladreing], I'm glad that your misconstrued reputation was useful to you in the situation you describe.
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: *shakes* hes been sitting outside my house for the past 3 1/2 hours in my best friends car which sal has no idea he barrowed hes waiting for me to come out and im bout to go get my stoner friend from next door hell scare the shit out of my ex hopefully
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: hmm i know the violent types all too well, he wasnt a stalker though. (and thanks [Rondel] it appears being made up to be some evil hex casting witch does have its advantages at times ^_-) but yes, stalkers have to be delt with and delt with quickly.
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: Dela what do i do my ex is sitting outside of my house and my neighbor isnt home!!!!
2005-06-16 [Zab]: call the police or something...
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: thye cant do anything about him sitting in front of my house ive called already so i called kyle my ex is terrified of him and hes on his way i hope he gets here before my ex breaks in!!
2005-06-16 [Zab]: then I have no idea, hope dela know.
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: im scared
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: he cant break in hun, if he does the the police can hau;l his sorry ass away. Just stay calm and make sure there is a suitable barricade between you and him. Lock all windows and doors and so on
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: Stay where you can keep an eye on him, have a phone next to you
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: but also make sure you are not in any danger from where you are
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: well i calle dmy friend kyle my ex is terrified of him so he wont do anything stupid to piss kyle off while hes here he will stay with me till my folks get home
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: good
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: i just hope he hurrys
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: the important thing is to stay calm
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: i know im gonna do the dishes maybe it will help a lil bit
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: [JWOlette], are you in the UK? Because the laws there may be different, but in the US, if you explain to them that this is a part of an escalating pattern of behaviour, and you are interested in filing a formal complaint and a request for a stalking order (or restraining order, if your area doesn't have stalking-speci
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: Yes, locking the house up is a VERY good idea; I'd also stay in direct communication with someone (preferably someone who knows where you are, and can call the local police if you suddenly disappear from the conversation) until your friend gets there, if you can. If nothing else, stay here and keep talking, but send one of us your location (preferably the person closest to you, and best able to call your local police). Keep the phone by you, yes, and be prepared to hang up on us and call the police yourself at the first sign of any disturbance, and if you can keep an eye on the car *without* being seen (or making a nice target by standing in a lit window), it would probably be a good idea.
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: And if I were you, I'd go down to the police station first thing tomorrow, and file for that restraining order. This has crossed the line from verbal harassment to physical intimidation (although, frankly, the combination of harassment and that physical assault on you is enough, already), and you have a right to feel safe in your own home. This guy is violating that right, and it's time it stopped. NOW. I'm not trying to scare you; in fact, I think that taking action is a damn good way to take back the control of the situation, and "empower yourself", to use that overused phrase... ...but I *do* want you to take this situation seriously. Better to get a restraining order you don't need
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: than to need one and not have it -- and if you had one, right now, the police would be on their way to your house, because what he's currently doing would be in violation of it. On the practical side, and again, not to scare you, but to be prepared for any eventuality, do you have a "safety plan", for what you'll do if the guy *does* try to come into the house? If you'd like, I can find you a site on the web where you can get guidance on what to do in this type of situation, but basically, it comes down to knowing what you're going to do *ahead* of time, so that you don't have to try to figure it out in the unlikely event that something more serious happens. I say unlikely, because the
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: usual pattern is one of slow & steady escalation, and I'd expect that even if this guy is dangerous, he's going to work himself up to it, before taking the step from unwanted physical proximity (invading your larger space) to physical endangerment (or breaking into your house, to intimidate you further). Remember, if you have to confront the guy, be sure you tell him firmly that you don't want him there, because that's an important element in your legal case (in getting the restraining order), but beyond that, say or do whatever you have to, to stay safe. People have been known to escape assaulters just by "playing ring-around-th
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: until the guy gave up & went and looked for an easier target; you know you have help on the way, and if you can just keep control of the situation until your friend gets there, you should be fine; but at the first sign of attempted entry into your home, CALL THE POLICE, and tell them that this guy has already physically assaulted you once, as well as giving them the other details you've posted here -- and make it clear that you expect them to take action, because that's their job, and there are laws on your side. Does this guy know the layout of your home? Do you have an escape route in mind, just in case? He's probably just being creepy, but lives have been saved by such escape plans.
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: yes he knows the layout of my house hes been inside a few times and kyle did come andhe made me come to his house where i am currently at im safe for now ill most likly stay the night here hes most likly sitting outside the house still kyle screamed at him but then heard me calling his name i think he was gonna beat the crap out of him but i came into mind before he got the chance so if this does continue tommarrow i will take a bat to his car and call the cops maybe he will get the hint then and i dont have an escape plan its a 6 to 8 foot drop from any window in my house and u can see the back door from the street so that wouldnt work either
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: Get the restraining order, and THANK YOU for letting us know that you're safe, for now. I've got to get some sleep (it's 3AM here), but I will sleep far better for this knowledge. One other thing -- DON'T TAKE THE BAT TO THE CAR -- you want it REALLY clear in the cops' eyes that YOU are the victim here, and that this guy is the ONLY one at fault in this situation. And, GET THE RESTRAINING ORDER. Please. It may not prevent problems, but it gives you a tool for getting action should they arise again. This has passed the point where you should be trying to handle it alone, because a) you can't, and b) you shouldn't have to. Please, talk to your family, document it all, & GET THAT ORDER!
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: i will as soon as i get home
2005-06-16 [Rondel]: P.S. Feel free to write me privately about this; I really want to know that you're safe, & it doesn't sound to me like you can be certain that you are, at this point. The point is not to scare you, the point is I've lost people to not taking things like this seriously, & I don't want it to happen again. Especially not to a nice young lady I'm just barely getting to know, & already care about (in a strictly friendly/mater
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: i will message you with all the details and its good to finaly have a maternal figure my mom is never around so i dont really know what its like to hav one or a father for that matter i take care of my self
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: that is so incredibly sweet, mother hen rondel does have a nice ring to it, the bets i can offer is sisterly advice lol my stalker was pathetic in the least >.>
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: hey any advise will do at this point
2005-06-16 [Delladreing]: Rondel has pretty much said everything that needs to be said, a restreaining order would be the correct thing to do, the police should know about this person, if and when he moves on from you he could star on some other person who would be much more easy to scare...or be less fortunate...
2005-06-16 [JWOlette]: yeah i know i hav to get the order when i get home but we dont hav anti stalking thingys in my area unfortaintally
2005-06-16 [Zab]: I wish you good luck, even if I´m not to any help.
2005-06-16 [a faerie tale]: My mum is a domestic violence psychotheripis

2005-06-16 [Azuri]: hehe could be a good possiblity
2005-06-17 [Zab]: yup...bah! Shouldn´t think about school when we at last hae recieved our freedom! wee! Summer!
2005-06-17 [Rondel]: [Zab], the first portion of American education (Elementary and Middle School/Junior High School) would be equivalent to your "grundskola", from the sounds of it. It used to be that the US system had two graduating points (three if you count college/univer
2005-06-17 [Zab]: ok....then I´m probably on the career.orienta
2005-06-17 [Rondel]: High School graduation comes at about age 18, & these days it's pretty much a necessity for any kind of a decent job. People who aren't HS graduates are often looked down upon, as if they were barely past the point of illiteracy. Unfortunately, as more of the population started attending High School, & graduation became more of a requirement, what was taught became more watered down, so now it's not entirely uncommon for people to graduate High School without being able to make correct change (when acting as a sales clerk, for instance). There are Advanced Placement (AP) courses, & "Magnet schools" which are better about giving full education. College/univer
2005-06-17 [Zab]: you know a lot about everything it seems.. I guess it´s the same here, but I think we graduate at age of 19, mostly.
2005-06-17 [Delladreing]: Wisdom and knowledge come with age...not that I am implying anything you understand Rondel, simply that you do know a lot
2005-06-17 [Rondel]: But, you have to go to at least a Vocational Technical School or Community College (college/univer
2005-06-17 [Zab]: ...I´ll stay with my horses, I´m alreaddy 'over-educated
2005-06-17 [Delladreing]: hehe fair enough Zab fair enough
2005-06-17 [Rondel]: I prefer to think of it this way -- aging offers opportunity to get wisdom, knowledge, & maturity -- but not everyone takes those opportunities, while others sieze each that comes their way, & thus gain these things much sooner. I was "fast-tracked" -- I was a child prodigy, in college at 9. Then I became disabled, in my teens, & that taught me a whole different set of lessons. No offense or implication taken, [Delladreing], in fact I find your statement complimentary. :) I'm not displeased by having attained my middle trio of decades (my family tends to live to 90ish); when I was your age, I didn't expect to see 30 (for reasons related to the stalking, etc.). So I am happy to be "old".
2005-06-17 [Zab]: *lol* but thanks anyway, rondel.^_^ yeah, now I just have to forget everything school havr learnt me about how it should be, and re-learn what actually works for the horse..
2005-06-17 [Delladreing]: I dont think so much its old so much as it is mature and very well defined. Some people as you say grow up and grow old but never really learn or experience things. Which I find to be quite sad for no matter how long it seems we have life is only but a blink in the eye in comparison to the rest of the universe. I've made it my obligation in life to live it and learn from it before its too late, I know too many people who dont care what happens or what they do.
2005-06-17 [Rondel]: Thank you, Dela! *smiles, bows* I know all too many people who never mastered even the level of maturity we expect of a person at 20, by the time they were in their 40s... ...and that's why I don't equate age & maturity. But I am glad to be middle-aged, as well as mature. I find it satisfying. [Zab], my opinion is that if you & the horse can work together, then tuck the things the school taught you into a reserve pocket, for helping you deal with any situation which "horse sense" can't get you through. But don't let them get in the way of that "horse sense" (a US slang synonym for "common sense", which is itself all too uncommon, unfortunately). :) I think you both hold wise views.
2005-06-17 [Delladreing]: As ever Rondel you are quite welcome :) Yes...common sense, sadly it died the other day, depsite our best efforts to keep that dear old friend of ours alive The Death of Common Sense (tis my "joke" wiki)
