2007-02-17 [Linderel]: Well, on my arts courses in school, we took a large piece of paper and made it into a kind of folder, using staples as help, and then drew something on the cover.
But you can make it anything you want, really. :3

2007-02-17 [iippo]: We did that too without the staples - in fact we just folded and A2 sheet in half, drew on the front and put everything we did during the course inside the fold. It works far enough. :D

2007-03-01 [Linderel]: Okay, people, it's over. I will give a few days, during which I'll seek out judges, to turn over the last of your entries, and then I'll reclaim the submission wikis for the duration of the judging. Please note that this isn't an issue of trust, but I want to make absolutely sure that nothing is changed. After the judging has been done and the winners announced, I will hand the wikis over to their respective owners permanently, and you may do whatever you wish with them. I hope you had as much fun participating in this contest as I had hosting it.

2007-03-01 [Linderel]: I'm really rather disappointed to see how many contestants have such incomplete portfolios... I hope to see a lot of last-minute submissions! And the only reason I'm stretching this so far is because I'll have my hands full hosting an IRC channel meeting over the weekend, so I really, really want to see something happening over here.

you have so easily talking, don't you even think about [Linderel] for a second? she set up this whole contest with intention of making it a fun contest for people who a willing to put time in it, though of course they have a life outside of elftown. I didn't join in the previous time because I knew I would be too busy, and I didn't want to screw this thing up for Linderel, since she put so much work in it.
in that case I'm glad that you won't participate in a future contest, seeing that this is your view on contests. when you sign up for such a thing, you can expect people to put some work in it ;)

2007-03-03 [Galatea]: That is true, and thank you for stating that for me. I did not come here to attack anyone, as it may have seemed. I came to maybe offer insight into the person that didn't get it done in time. I understand very well that if you make an obligation to enter a contest than you should honor it! But I also know that life throws us some interesting circumstances sometimes and our priorities can get a bit turned around. I was just hoping that maybe everyone wouldn't attack that one person so much. I think that [Linderel]'s comment was enough. I apologise for coming off harshly. I appreciate the effort [Linderel] goes through to make these contests, I know they have to be alot of work.

I understand that sometimes, there are circumstances that don't leave you the time, but if you find yourself not having the time, you should say so, instead of leaving the host to wonder. You can say that you'll probably not be able to do all, or even any, of the assigments - okay, that's a shame. But you've told me. There were some cases in here where I was wondering if they'd just forgotten about the whole thing.

2007-03-04 [Azuri]: I never forgot the whole thing, the ones that Ive managed to put up are all school work so far, I really am trying to finish it but life is life, I really thought this was a interesting contest which is why I entered. I just wish life hadn't thrown such big curve balls my way and I would have had time.
