2007-06-15 [Lothuriel]: Davey Jones was suppose to be cursed for 100 years as the ferryman, carrying souls lost at sea to their final resting place. Instead, he used the Flying Dutchman to fullfill his own selfish rein of terror. As for the thing that [Peregrinus] mentioned, it isn't part of the POTC series, it is one of many legends surrounding the Flying Dutchman. If you stuck around after the credits, you know already what happened 10 years later...Honestly, though. I didn't think that movie mad a dang bit of sense. It contradicted everything we were told in the first two and the characters were...well...completely out of character. i hate to say this but, I just didn't like it. I took my kids to see it. They are 3,4, 8, and 9. I was disgusted by the amount of violence in a movie that had been marketed for kids. The first two were awesome but, this one I just was very disappointed in.

2007-06-19 [iippo]: Spoiler. But why did Will have to have his heart cut out? Davey Jones ferried souls as the captain of the Flying Dutchman before cutting off his heart, which he did because it got broken and was too painful for him to have around... oui? o.O
