2004-11-19 [Aidan Ryuko]: thanks:) this site is so handy i didn't even figure out half of it's uses!!
2005-01-15 [Flinfor]: Something like the way the bioware forums work would be a lot easier to use
2005-01-15 [Nita]: Not really... What can be easier to use than single button navigation we have here? :)
2005-03-23 [Pedito]: Would it be possible at all if we start a instant messanger system going on elftown? Gets tiring after reading message by message
2005-03-24 [Nita]: I don't think we have that much spare server-time. Why don't you use one of the existing instant messaging systems intsead? :)
2005-03-24 [Pedito]: because I'm usaully only avaible to get online at school. Some convos would go faster this way. Plus there are methods of getting around that. I could ask my cousin because he designs forum like these and he has instant message capabilities like these. I't basically a chat line with forums that you can look at. and it tells you who your talking to.
2005-05-06 [The Spirit Mage Crystalwind]: a while ago I suggested having a banner to put up at houses containing new art instead of the standard red-text message by the guards. The results are now in at the Nude Banner Contest, so I was just wondering if any (or all) of these banners could be used.
2005-12-02 [NiceGuy213]: How about we have a Jester positon? If someone needs a laugh, they could go to one of these people, and they could try to get one of those well needed laughs.
2005-12-31 [Draugur dauĂ°ans]: Perhapse Elftown should also selebrate the Pagan Selebrations? you have enough Wiccan's/Pagan
2006-01-03 [iippo]: We are actually in the thinking of letting people feature their festive dates in the calendar. And I'm very glad of this comment because you're showing that people do want it.
2006-01-03 [iippo]: And [NiceGuy213], there is Jokers of Elftown. It's not official, but it's fun.
2006-04-08 [1a2b3c]: It would be nice if under each "online friend" there was a message field to send quick messages.
2006-04-09 [NiceGuy213]: Yeah, like a messenger service.
2006-04-09 [NiceGuy213]: that way, any of your buddies online can message you whenever your on, not just on here.
2006-04-09 [iippo]: Eh, I understood what [1a2b3c] meant (can send a message to an online-friend without having to go through their house to the message-box), but not [NiceGuy213]... You want to send ET-messages without actually being logged on? O_o
2006-04-09 [1a2b3c]: yup, thats what i meant, sending a message wihtout going through their house
2006-04-09 [NiceGuy213]: Like AIM or MSN, any of your friends here, you have in the messenger too.
2006-04-09 [iippo]: You have different suggestions. Either way, the best place to suggest is actually the forum <forum:Elftown, Suggestions>, because the mayor and the other tech-people are more active there... From my incredibly limited knowledge of the interet, I'd say connecting ET-onlineness with MSN-onlineness is a bit impossible. I mean... MSN doesn't even show online when you're actually logged in to a passport site like Hotmail... You need the downloaded program. :/ But, suggest in the forum.
2006-04-22 [another brick in the wall]: we should have Elftown Grocery stores. Do you know how Friggin cool it would be, to go some place and have it say like "$40 per pound of cabbage", and then you type in a space, how much cabbage you want, and then click a "buy" button, frig YES! and it wont matter if you have the money or not, you just buy stuff.
2006-04-22 [iippo]: But you wouldn't get stuff either. o.O So you'd be paying for imaginary grocery with imaginary money... Kind of like a roleplay. See if Elftown Open Marketplace is anything like what you imagined...
