Welcome to Artsieladie's Wiki-work Page!

If one were to come to the assumption that I love to work or play around with wiki-pages, build them,
faff them, etc., they would be drawing a correct assumption.

Now with the new "indexing" feature [Hedda] implemented, I am doiing wiki-page work, but with the
additional goal of indexing as well. I didn't understand how it worked at first, but [Hedda] explained so
I could and as I've been using it more and more, I am liking it the same. So, again, kudos to him.

My intended goal and a very far off, distant goal, is to see if I can't index Elftown, which would include
all of Elftown's important wiki-pages, as well as the wiki-pages that would be of interest to Elftowners,
hopefully to touch on all the interests of Elftowners for Elftowners.

Not only would this be useful for members who have been members for some time, but I believe this
would be particularly useful to new members as well.

The Greatest, Grandest Master "Wiki-Wizard"!

If you look around Elftown, you will notice that the layout and design of several pages has changed.
This all began with: Donors' Page - Faffed, which was TOTALLY my ORIGINAL designing of this layout.
In fact, [Hedda] was so pleased with my work, he moved it over to the actual Donors page himself
(Donors 54), and these are his comments referring to this:

FROM Donors:
2009-03-30 [Hedda]: Great thanks to [Artsieladie] for the new more modern design I just submitted!
See Donors' Page - Faffed to comment!

FROM Donors' Page - Faffed:
2009-03-30 [Hedda]: Looks great. Added to Donors.
(See screen capture image.)

..And I also especially appreciated, besides [Hedda]'s compliment, [nehirwen]'s. She was the only other
crew member to acknowledge to me a job, my job, well done.

2009-03-30 [nehirwen]: - Administration Badges ? is a dead link and the penguin badge needs a better
explanation. (something like: Members participating once in a crafts or costume competition become artisans
or costume designers)
And the featured writers badge is twice on this page atm. (better give it it's own section indeed)

Rest looks good. :)

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: So, may I reiterate here, adamantly, NOT ALL CREW are rude, insensitive,
etc.. Only certain ones are and it is these certain ones that then make the entire crew look bad.

These people without doubt KNOW that the "new wiki-page design" is MY design, because these
individuals commented on both the Donors page and the Donors' Page - Faffed at around the same
time when [Hedda] placed my design on the Donors page. Therefore these people CANNOT dispute that
the new design is "my creative wiki-work":

[Hedda] . [windowframe] . [nehirwen] . [Linderel] . [Chimes] . [Janouk]

Please also note, I include in my wiki-page layout, the PROPER and CORRECT set-up of a wiki-page, with the
"title of the page" at the "top of the page". (Please see: SEO Howto by [Hedda]) Also, [Hedda] specifies
this on the Creature_list page with:

2007-01-09 [Hedda]: I'm not against that, but I'm afraid that we'll get pages that only describe
non-existing information. The format used should be the standard used on all wikis (as in: All wiki-systems, not only Elftown):

Title

The main image, if any.

A short text describing it.

A more extensive text or links to sub-pages.

Links to related wiki-pages and external sites.

The sub-pages could of course use the same ideas on many different pages, but it's not needed. If it's
pegasus history but dragons in the history don't really matter. The ones writing on the creature pages
should probably adjust the normal standard to their specific creature, or to the information available.
(See screen capture image.)

...And as he also does on MC. In fact he stated such JUST AFTER he banned me on 2009-04-08 (which
coincidently is [Sunrose]'s birthday!). One of the things that had gotten me to the point of giving up, but
really was the straw that broke the camel's back, was the fact that a Council member was removing the
title from the top of MCV that I had placed at the top of the wiki-page as I knew [Hedda] had stated HE
wanted done
a few times and when I told her with evidence to back up my statement (the statement just
above from the Creature_list page), she accused me of playing games. But all I was doing, was exactly
what [Hedda] had asked to be done with the official pages on Elftown.

However, did he acknowledge and stand up and say that "I" was only doing as "he" had asked be done?
No, he did not. Once again I was expected to take it on the chin and say and do nothing.

From the MC:

2009-04-08 [Hedda]: I want a proper headline, not just the graphics.
(See screen capture image.)

Then since [Hedda] liked MY NEW WIKI-PAGE DESIGN, I set out to apply it to all the official pages that it
would work nicely on. [windowframe] then decided that she would step in and steal my thunder and began
going around applying MY NEW DESIGN, but after she was critical of it on the Donors of Art. So naturally,
I was assuming she didn't like my new design for she never said that she did either to counteract my
thinking with the Donors of Art page occurrence.

Now, if she had said to me something like, "Artsie, there are a lot of pages. I would like to help you with
the faffing with your new design.", I would have said, "Great, no problem. I appreciate the help." ..And I
WOULD have appreciated the help, if she had shown just a little consideration. But this is not what she
did. She just seemingly to me, moved in on what I was doing and took over like it was 'her' idea. But...
when I pointed this out, well then, she was just trying to be 'helpful'. "I" however, when "I" would do
something, particularly that wasn't getting done when it was supposed to be, "I" was then said to be
"interfering". Not helpful... "interfering". When someone on the crew was "interfering" with what I was
doing or running, then they were just being "helpful". Not interfering... "helpful".

So ultimately, I was made to feel like a schmuck for something that I had spent a LOT of time on, A HECK
OF A LOT OF TIME ON, working with laying out the new design. I was literally bursting with pride, because it was "I" that had done something so well, that [Hedda] never even hesitated to implement. I can't begin to tell anyone just how good it felt to know that "I" had done something "right?" for a change. So to have [windowframe] assert herself in on MY brief moment of "Wow", just really hurt like hell. Only after I acted a bit perturbed with her about asserting herself into what I was doing, did she then say that she was just trying to help.

PART OF HER COMMENT:
2009-03-31 [windowframe]: "...I thought I'd give you a hand posting them round, since I assumed you'd be
adding it to all the pages. And please, where have I even tried to take credit for this idea? Oh wait, I haven't. I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't in your books, aren't I?

I'm sorry you spent time doing it, but that's life. I've spent hours doing something too only to have it shot
down, and I got over it. Lots of effort spent doesn't suddenly make something good."

Then adding the end part as she did, just added fuel to the fire. It wasn't something I had spent only a
couple or a few hours on and then the last sentence is borderline with how it can be taken, which means it could have been taken that she was "implying" that "my" design which was more than just accepted by [Hedda], wasn't something that was good in her opinion.

Even so, on one of the pages, (Christmas Photographers), she had a problem with the table tag. As
hurt as I was feeling, I did NOT hesitate to help her with the problem and I also explained what the problem was and I winked to let her know I was glad to help or like saying "no problem". But... yet, "I'm" the one that has such a horrible attitude; the one that no one can work with.
