Members who to contribute to the continued publication of The Town Herald become Heralders.

Members may be selected to become Photo Reference Bosses after demonstrating significant interest in Reference Pictures and the EPRM and their will to work.

Members may be selected to become ElfChat Bosses after demonstrating significant knowledge and interest in Elfchat and their will to work.

Members who help translate a number of official Elftown wiki pages may become Translators.

Members who know their way around Elftown and are active on help-wikis and/or in the forums may be selected to become Guides.

Members who demonstrate significant interest in recording the Elftown History may become Historians.

Members who show significant interest in Elftown Graphics may be selected to become part of the Elftown Graphics Group.

Members may be selected to become one of the Professors after demonstrating significant interest in helping to maintain Tutorials and Lessons.

Members who follow Elftown's Rules, especially the Uploading Art Rules, and make a minimum of 80 accurate reports may be selected to become one of the Patrollers.

Members who demonstrate a good knowledge of literary and poetic technique may be chosen to become part of the Literature Judges.
