2004-06-28 [Skydancer]: Cerainly, be my guest. :) She would love to see them.
2004-06-28 [moira hawthorne]: ohhh goodie...thx! ill share them when i get them done with you!
2004-06-29 [irulan]: Just a small announcement (or you could call it spam), please check out http://www.sim
2004-06-29 [celticsofi]: yes ive been there irulan, its an amazing website. i really like it. good job :)
2004-06-29 [Yuriona]: Very nice indeed. :D
2004-06-29 [irulan]: Thank you =)
2004-06-30 [Rondel]: I've already joined, myself. :) It's a good site, I'm quite impressed -- especially with the care taken to protect the image files uploaded by the artists on the site.
2004-08-03 [BarleySinger]: out http://www.sim
2004-09-01 [HiddenFire]: Wow! been looking for a place like this for a while. People now-a-days are far to puritanical in their beliefs toward nudity in art. I loath censorship and just about any other attempt to crush or alter the original works of an artist. *stops so as not to begin ranting.* @.@
2004-09-01 [Skydancer]: Just so you understand we also do not support pornography or the exploitation of sexuality.
2004-09-01 [HiddenFire]: I figured as much. I may be 19, but I'm not interested in this place because of some hormone driven teen perversions. @.@ I'm acutally just now starting to introduce full nudity into my artwork. But that is mostly because I live in the bible belt and I have a young cousin that is a big fan of my work. ^_^ So I have to keep it clean or his parents (who do not even acknowlege the existence of such things) would dissallow me from contact with him completely. *shrugs* they don't like me enough as it is because I answer his (this young cousin) questions when he asks them. But I try not to actively counteract his upbringing, he's not my child. *shrugs*
2004-09-07 [BarleySinger]: I really dislike the fact that in many countries seeing people disemboweled is considered ok, but seeing them naked is not. When they showed the animated film "Heavy Metal" on TV in the US, the kept inthe flesh rending zombie scenes and removed the animated nipples. Peopler insist that all nudity is sexual and all sexual things are -bad-, and "heavens to besty" the art had better just be people "not wearing clothing". Art that reflects our reality as sexual beings is totally forbidden - which is why there is so very little of it worth looking at, with most being purile or icky/fetish fixated.
2004-09-07 [BarleySinger]: I am interested in finding nudes of people who are not all young and thin and perfect that I can use as stock images. Any ideas?
2004-09-07 [Rondel]: I'm glad you found your way here, [HiddenFire]! This is a good place to get support for your artistic development in this area; I'm sorry it's been constrained by your environment. I am saddened by the amount of beautiful artwork that has been lost to the world, either before or after its creation, as a result of the bigotry that says that there's a difference between showing a cat without clothes, and showing a human without clothes. <sigh> Like [BarleySinger], I prefer the European attitude that "nudity and sex are part of life, so it's okay to show them, but violence is bad, so we don't want to encourage it by showing a lot of it, in a positive light".
2004-09-07 [Rondel]: On that same subject, I've been wondering -- does anyone know of any good stock images of classical ethnographic nudes? I'm looking for something along the lines of the sort of thing that National Geographic prints -- African tribesmen, indigenous Australians, members of North America's First Nations (like the photos at Maryhill Museum, nothing exploitative), that sort of thing. If anyone knows where I can find these sorts of images, I'd be very grateful for suggestions. I need online sources, by preference; for those who don't know, I'm housebound for medical reasons, so I can't just go to the museums, or shop thrift stores for old National Geographic Magazines.
2004-09-07 [HiddenFire]: To deny that we are sexual creatures is to deny our humanity. Sex isn't something that we need protection from anyway. But it seems the puritians have left a deep scar in the American mentality towards sex. Here in the bible belt, many curches prohibit things like dancing because it could lead to sex. The thing is, if Freud was right, everything we do, we do because it could possibly lead to sex. *shrugs* I've at least got my little cousin to realize that not all his monsters need to wear pants. He does not draw genitals but he also does not try to cover up all that, dispite the fact that some of his classmates have told him he should.
2004-09-07 [HiddenFire]: He (my young cousin) tells them "If animals don't wear clothes, then why should monsters?" ^_^ He only draws male figures, and at least he draws nipples on the few that he thinks they belong on. He's like 8 years old I think... somewhere around there. *has a poor memory*
2004-09-07 [moira hawthorne]: eeeeeeeeekkkkk
2004-09-08 [Rondel]: [HiddenFire], I'm glad that your cousin has someone like you in his life, and that he's got the good sense to realize that it makes no more sense to put pants on monsters than on the family dog. My husband ([BarleySinger]) was raised in a small town with about 1 church to every 4 blocks, and an average congregation size of about 25 people (because they were so busy condemning each other as immoral that they couldn't even agree to share churches with each other), but I grew up in a rather liberal (though still heavily religious) home, so that's outside my personal experience. I scandalize his family each time we try to visit, because I can't wrap my brain around their mindset.
2004-09-08 [Rondel]: One thing that I think is particularly healthy about artistic nudity is that it shows that, while nudity *can* be sexual, it can also *not* be sexual. For those who watch The Simpsons, who saw the nude painting of Mr. Burns as sexual? I sure didn't... Personally, I think that people who see sex everywhere are actually more unhealthily fixated on sex, even if they're rejecting that sexuality, than people who can see skin as an aesthetic element, unrelated to their sexual interests (even if they choose to *also* see nude art that *does* have a sexual element). But, seriously, who thinks that putting nipples on an ogre is about sex??? How obsessive does a person have to be to think that???
2004-09-08 [Yuriona]: Well said as usual Rondel. I have serious concerns with people who consider themselves to be religious and yet condemn the way God made us as wrong or dirty. We weren't born into this world with clothes on. Clothes are meant to protect from the elements or to make a statement, not to cover one of God's beautiful works of art. Humph. Nipples and everything else are natural. Next thing you know they'll be demanding that animals be clothed because it's immoral for them to run around in just their fur.
2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: These people have been taught that their bodies are dirty. This seems to be a rather Chrtian way of thinking. Somewhere in the bible, I'll have to do some checking, it says that when a child saw his father in the nude he was cursed. Or something to that effect. Then there was also the one that everyone knows, Adam and Eve. They became aware of good and evil and when they say that they where nude they became ashamed. This, to me, suggests that nudity is just plain evil. Though perhaps it has more to do with vonerability than acutal body shame. When it comes down to it, clothing makes us feel comfortable around others. We feel vonerable when nude. *shrugs* I'll have to look up that verse.
2004-09-08 [Yuriona]: Adam and Eve were cursed not because they ate of the fruit and became of good and evil but because they could not admit to their mistake and so blamed someone else for their downfall. Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the snake. As for the curse of a son seeing his father nude, I believe that is discussing the sin of incest not nudity. In fact...accordi
2004-09-08 [moira hawthorne]: I feel more comfortable nakkid than dressed ... people judge you by your clothes ... they are statements of your weath and statis in society! but to be nakkid is to be free
2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: (2 Sam. 6:20; 10:4; Isa. 20:2-4; 47:3; Gen. 9:20-27) The first two are basicaly stating that the nude conditions of paradise where reprehensible, the last refers to when Noah's sons saw him naked and was thusly cursed. @.@
2004-09-08 [Yuriona]: Personally I believe that the Bible is not something to be taken literally. Though it contains God's Word, it is God's Word written by man and therefore imperfect. I think the Bible is open to interpretation and that some interpretation
2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: The bible is open for interpretation
2004-09-08 [moira hawthorne]: the Bible is a twisted sick book full of lies and misinterpretat
2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: I tend to agree with you on that one. But I'm not looking for a religious debate. Such things only lead to flared tempers and the like. Like I said, I mentioned it for the simple insight. @.@
2004-09-08 [Mom]: I never could understand judging any religion...wou
2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: True. The real point I was making was that even religion has been against nudity from the start. I'm not sure why, I think it was because of the sex issue. That is an interesting way of putting it, [Mom], I never thought of it that way. They condem everyone else, and we condem them for their condemnation. It's quite humorous when you put it that way. ^_^
2004-09-08 [Mom]: Judge not lest you be judged.....
2004-09-08 [Mom]: Or my favorite...let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
2004-09-08 [Mom]: Tolerance ...the hardest of lifes lessons.I hope I can learn it...I pray I do. Mankind would be much better off if we could.
2004-09-08 [Skydancer]: Religion is a packaged and dogmatized set of beliefs. It is not christian, islamic, pagan, buddist or any other specific sect of religion. One should keep their definitions of words carefully correct in such a discussion. Some religions embrace nudity and sexual openess. The bible is one book, of one religious sect, it is not accurate to use such terms as "religion" in this context. AND, such discussion belongs in the forum, not here in the Wiki. :)
2004-09-08 [Yuriona]: Moira...you should know better than to judge like that. Personally since you're a pagan, I think you have an extremely biased view towards the bible. Judging someone for their religion is about as silly as killing each other for land. Well said [Mom]. :) My own mom's favourite saying: 'People in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones', same meaning I believe. Only when we learn to love and cherish each other for who we are will we truly know peace.
2004-09-08 [HiddenFire]: We are all biased when it comes to religion. We all believe that we are right. *shrugs*
2004-09-08 [Skydancer]: Ok, take it to the forum.... or I start deleting comments.. :)
2004-09-08 [Yuriona]: Yes sir! *salutes* LOL!!
2004-09-08 [Skydancer]: hehehehehe... :)
2004-09-11 [, , , , , , , , ,]: *wanders in, reads the previous thread and ducks out of the way, not wanting any part of a religious argument*
2004-09-11 [hanhepi]: personaly, i feel more comfotable clothed. but only cause i look silly wearing nothing but a bra. and if i'm verticle, i need a bra. actually, i just need something to hold them out of the way, and to keep'em out of my eyes if i have to run. lol.
2004-09-12 [Nyaah*]: hello everybody! im new :)
2004-09-12 [irulan]: Hello & welcome!! =)
2004-09-13 [Nyaah*]: heya :D
2004-09-14 [Skydancer]: http://wuemnia
2004-09-15 [Rondel]: I've checked out this link, and this guy's work seems to be quite the sort of thing we do here, so I agree that it would be worth seeing whether he's interested in joining us here... ...but is there any particular reason you think that the person approaching him should be female? I mean, isn't part of the point here the fact that we're just artists, regardless of what it is we choose to draw? I just wouldn't want to give this guy the wrong idea about why he's being approached. :)
2004-09-15 [Skydancer]: Because male artists tend to be much more fragile than female ones, and they will often respond to other male artists in a defensive and atypical fashion that makes it hard to actually get a good impression of what they are like. And besides, I cannot be the only one that is inviting everyone.. :)
2005-09-28 [Paul Doyle]: Is there currently an interest for ET volunteer male figure reference models? If there is, I could have my wife Kathy take a series of indoor shots, posing with various props and such (kitchenware, etc). If not, thank you for your time :-)
2005-09-29 [iippo]: *shows interest* And if that's not hintful enough... YES! ^^
2005-09-29 [Paul Doyle]: Well, let's see what the others think :)
2005-09-29 [Skydancer]: Since each contributor ends up with their own galleries of reference images, it should not be an issue in any case. If the images are not of a good enough quality, then of course we, as in the staff, will just not put them up. But otherwise, it is pretty much up to the membership if they use or do not use whatever is placed in the references. Of course there is some need to consider the poses and such as you are well aware Paul, these should be natural, and ordinary nudist style images, ie, not really posed at all, but good clear images of ordinary, everyday activities that just happen to be in the nude.
2005-09-29 [Paul Doyle]: Are there minimal camera requirements? I'm a rather casual photographer, having entered exactly one ET photography contest. I have a 5 MP Kodak EasyShare, and it takes only moments to let in natural lighting. I was thinking somewhat along the lines of what [, , , , , , , , ,] has produced in the past. Again, I am very new at this :)
2005-09-30 [Skydancer]: It is not really the camera so much as the composition and lighting. The image needs to be very sharp, evenly lighted without a lot of shadows or harsh flash, and more academic than ordinary photography. Think about the difference between a speciman and an art work. You light the speciman to be able to see all the detail and color. You light an artwork to dramatize it.
2005-10-01 [Skydancer]: http://justmei
2005-10-01 [Rondel]: I, for one, have been wishing we had more male images in our figure model selection. My husband has been thinking about doing a set (especially now that his health problems have taken away the weight that they had made him gain, leaving him feeling less self-conscious), but it will have to wait for warmer weather. Our house is just not warm enough for even an indoor series to be viable, but come summer, our rental home has a private fernery, an EXCELLENT backdrop for such photos. Since [BarleySinger] doesn't have many of the issues I do, & we've both wanted to contribute to a resource we value, this seemed like a good option, especially because of the issue of needing more male images. :)
2005-10-01 [Rondel]: One thing I will say, as an artist who has done both drawing and photomanipulat
2005-10-01 [Rondel]: Our own camera is quite primitive, as digital cameras go -- 1.3 Mpixels, maximum image size 1024x768 -- but the resulting images are quite suitable for anything short of large digital photomanipulat
2005-10-01 [BarleySinger]: Though I do admit to being self conscious as to what a long and painful illness has done to the lines of my body, after the years when I was a muscular weight lifter....but different body types are needed, and not everybody looks like they are in perfect health.
2005-10-01 [moira hawthorne]: well if someone wanted a pose for someone... a character who was one of the sickly gothic antihero types ..you'd be perfect..
2005-10-02 [Rondel]: I'm not sure -- such imagery usually tends more toward the "slender-to-th
2005-10-02 [Rondel]: Oh, and my previous request seems to have died in a computer crash -- due to recent revelations, would you please remove the "in memoriam" element from my "Ethnographic Nude" gallery listing, [Skydancer]? I'd like to keep the gallery up, though, to encourage people to submit drawings of indigenous peoples (or others who live at one with the land) who consider clothing/adorn
2005-10-02 [Paul Doyle]: I'll try to get two or three photographic samples within the next week, since I'll most certainly need feedback before I go through making an entire gallery for the benefit of Elftown artists. Regarding "build" (if this really means anything) I have the basic size and frame of an NFL running back, though obviously I don't have THAT kind of muscular tone :P And I'm sort of hairy, though not quite someone from the cast of Quest For Fire *chuckle* I will also need to put these pictures somewhere where the wrong, prying eyes will not look.
2005-10-02 [Skydancer]: SPADNAA Member Uploads
2005-10-02 [Paul Doyle]: Thanks . . . this is a forum-protecte
2005-10-02 [Skydancer]: ? hmmm. {Fixed}
2005-10-02 [Rondel]: Thank you, I appreciate the adjustment of the gallery listing, [Skydancer]. Glad to see you joining our ranks, [Paul Doyle]. :) Given your described build, you'll be a useful addition to the reference images; you're of a different build than the other male reference images I've seen in the galleries so far. :)
2005-10-02 [Lerune]: All people are built differently, and this wide range of figures really helps. =o) I applaud people with the courage to do such poses. I don't see a nude gallery in my own future anytime soon, so I admire someone who is comfortable enough in their own skin to do such a thing. =o)
2005-10-02 [moira hawthorne]: aaaaaaaawww come on Lerunie! we wantta!
2005-10-02 [Lerune]: The Nakedness of Lerune is as exciting as it will more than likely ever get. I have reasons that are my own...and I am okay with them. I applaud you, Moira, for being as comfortable as you are with your body, but I know I could never be that way, and I am not to worried about it. ;o)
2005-10-02 [moira hawthorne]: ill look forward to seeing those... as soon as I can see images!
2005-10-02 [Lerune]: Message True. ;o)
2005-10-03 [Skydancer]: GO VOTE! for whoever you like the most of course but definately vote.. :) <poll:61802>
2005-10-04 [Paul Doyle]: Hi guys . . . I hope you don't mind an unforseen delay. My DSL decided to die and go off to Silcon Paradaise :p For more info, go here <diary:675977> This library connection stinks, so I can't stay on long o__O
2005-10-04 [Paul Doyle]: Photos are still in the works, BTW. Have home connection: will upload sample pics. :P
2005-10-05 [~Altopia~]: 0h this is a nice wiki:) I'd like to join.
2005-10-11 [small and mighty]: dang im gonna have to scan my pics in lol couldnt save from paint....pttoe
2005-10-16 [Lerune]: Do we want to update Nude in Nature?
2005-10-17 [Skydancer]: Yes please. I do not have the password since Rondel created it., but it certainly does need updated.
2005-10-17 [moira hawthorne]: is there be something new?
2005-10-17 [Skydancer]: there is new stuff in the Figure reference yes, the nude in nature is just an edit job.
2005-10-17 [Lerune]: Do you want me to just remove the data on it and delete the previous versions or what?
2005-10-17 [Skydancer]: No, the concept is good, just change the owner to me and delete all previous versions if you please
2005-10-17 [Lerune]: Ah, done. =o)
2005-10-21 [DarkJenni]: I'd like to join too.
2005-10-21 [Skydancer]: Done, you have been added to the roster.
2005-10-21 [DarkJenni]: thanks! ^^
2005-10-22 [Kileaiya]: Does anyone have tips for shading?? tutorials or anything, I'm sorry if this should not be posted here.
2005-10-23 [Skydancer]: Hmm. There are some good tutorials on Deviant art and there is a tutorial area here on elftown somewhere... {goes off to look}
2005-10-23 [Skydancer]: ArtTips and http://photosh
2005-10-23 [iippo]: Also the obvious: Tutorials. And you'd probably find something in the Academy too.
2005-10-24 [Kahless]: i'd like to join the wikki, do i have to e-mail to the address, or can we join here?
2005-10-24 [Skydancer]: Ok, done. :)
2005-10-27 [Nightfall]: I'd like to join as well :)
2005-10-28 [iippo]: Oh there is also the Digital Art Class.
2005-11-06 [yusuf]: I recommend that digital art class too. There is a lot that we can learn from [Caelicorn]
2005-11-20 [Linn Scarlett]: ohhh sounds fun :D
2005-11-30 [Rayeen]: I would like to join too
2005-12-13 [birdsong]: My E-Mail is "Out of Sorts" is there any other way that I can get my work to my Gallery?
2005-12-13 [Yuriona]: It is possible to have your privs lowered so that you may have the ability to upload images directly to a wiki. If you have said privs, and you do [birdsong] then you can upload your images directly to your Gallery. I am assuming that you already have your own private gallery. If not, one can be provided for you.
2005-12-13 [iippo]: <diary:714405> For some reason she listed a lot of tutorials in her diary note, so we might as well use it to our benefit :D
2005-12-22 [Linn Scarlett]: *trots in and holds out nude drawing she made* isnt it pretty ^_^ (nb: its in my house, 3 complains so far)
2005-12-22 [Skydancer]: Excellent work, really quite excellent. :)
2005-12-22 [Zab]: Complains for having nude art there? I've only got one complain.. and that was for not having nude art..O_o) Great work. :D I wish I could draw men like that. :)
2005-12-22 [Linn Scarlett]: well it was more like "Ehhhh penis!" and i heard i got reported and that half the guards laughed their asses off, or something *shrugs* i really like the perspective on his right leg and the way it connects to his hip. t'were simple strokes but they turned out better then my 2hourfight with his left leg
2005-12-22 [Linn Scarlett]: hmm need to get a gallery up here i suppose O.o' *ponders* i dont usually draw full nudes, only strategically-
2005-12-28 [arkangel]: Been referred here and wouldnt mind being a member please
2005-12-28 [Skydancer]: I have placed your request before the membership. give them a few days and see what they think.
2005-12-28 [Linn Scarlett]: :D more members *huggles arkangel* *coughs* ok I think I let myself go a little there ^_^ oh and 'evenin skydancer
2005-12-28 [Skydancer]: Well, afternoon here. :)
2005-12-28 [Linn Scarlett]: it's well into the night here :(
2005-12-28 [iippo]: Getting... *yawn* close to midnight in here.
2005-12-28 [Linn Scarlett]: i think i'm going to bed
2005-12-30 [Elisha Kelly]: Ummm could I possibly join :)
2005-12-30 [Skydancer]: Your application is before the membership, and as soon as I get some feedback, I will add you.. {most very likely} or send you a sorry sally note. :)
2005-12-31 [Elisha Kelly]: Thankies :D
2006-01-03 [Fallen Seraph]: Hello, I happened to stumble upon this wiki and think that it would be a great reference, as I'm short of models willing to pose in the nude. I would appreciate it if I was able to join, and hopefully contribute to the cause. Thanks.
2006-01-03 [Skydancer]: Your application has been placed before the membership, and we will see what they think. :)
2006-01-03 [Fallen Seraph]: Thanks, much appreciated.
2006-01-13 [Linn Scarlett]: omg X_X i think i just drew a naked woman... ok sketched it but still... me... the emancipated naked male drawer, drew a naked woman *is still in shock about it* :p
2006-01-13 [Skydancer]: Yay for equality of the figural sexes..
2006-01-14 [Kahless]: yea.. that's one thing i have trouble drawing... all of my females look like guys with breasts lol
2006-01-14 [Daisy_Sandybanks]: That's quite the opposite for me, lol. I can draw females perfectly fine, but when it comes to drawings males, they turn out looking a bit feminine. I guess practice makes perfect though :P
2006-01-14 [Skydancer]: Well, we do have some of both to study in the figure reference.. though of course we really really could use more male figure studies.. The females are always always welcome, totally but we are a bit sparse on male studies.
2006-01-14 [Kahless]: well, Daisy, looks like if we pool our talents, we'd make a prety good team :-D
2006-01-14 [Linn Scarlett]: i am so glad i am pretty good at male anatomy then, female referance is in abundance here ^_^ but then again, i hardly draw any females because it really doesn't interest me *chuckles*
2006-01-14 [iippo]: Meh, my tutor had to correct my male's legs because I was making him too curvy out of habit (this was drawing from life!) -_- I'm so happy of this new term, we get so much more variety in the models now. The last lady we had was so tiny and precious, I almost drew wings because she was so fairy-like @_@ It's strange, I tend to avoid ETish things in university (they don't appreciate, bah!), but one of my males looked really a lot like a satyr (I was experimenting with mark making and the image ended up looking all fluffy)
2006-01-14 [Linn Scarlett]: hmm i can imagine what you mean *chuckles* thank the gods i am going to study archeology ^_^ legal barbarian drawing :D
2006-01-14 [iippo]: I had an idea here at some point. How about a nude sketch reference library? With people's sketches that are just for anatomy/figure drawing studies? It's usually awful lot useful to see others' drawings as well as a photo or life model. Especially when it comes to foreshortening
2006-01-14 [Linn Scarlett]: i dont like working with RL models because it's no use for my drawings... *grumbles because she lost her poster of arnold as conan, which was a major anatomy help*
2006-01-14 [iippo]: I have a friend whose studio-work revolves around bodybuilders. They'd be muscly enough for your vikings (but not hairy I'm afraid)
2006-01-14 [Linn Scarlett]: its the anatomy that counts, i know where the hair grows ;) hmmm *puts that friend on her "to stalk" list* ^_^ i think i am gonna force bodybuilders to pose for me aswell :p
2006-01-14 [Linn Scarlett]: long live my file map with 300-screenshot
2006-01-14 [iippo]: There are many sites with bodybuilder's images. Both male and female (so you can start making the REAL viking women, not the thin blondes that you see everytime, who wouldd break in two if the barbarian even touched them)
2006-01-14 [Linn Scarlett]: *chuckles* you remind me of [Dharani]s and my theory why the vikings *really* set sail to europa *snickers* i know 'real viking women' are scary olga types X_X
2006-01-14 [Skydancer]: There is no reason why we cannot have a sketchbook gallery. just connect it to the forum so it is locked and set to viewable by forum members only and there you are.
2006-01-14 [iippo]: Greatness. :D I'll think it over (how to arrange and all that) and try to gather some material to kick it off with.
2006-01-14 [Linn Scarlett]: ohhh dear :P
2006-01-14 [Daisy_Sandybanks]: Oh, I have tons of sketches done from my life drawings classes, I even have a few uploaded here on ET. I'll definitly help in adding what I can :)
2006-01-18 [Skydancer]: That is probably a true thought. besides such discussions would probably belong in the general forum rather than here on a public page. This is supposed to be a community about exaulting the nude and the nude figure artists, and people such as Valljeo? paint exactly that, and certainly world famous and accepted and exceptionally talented artists. Let us accentuate the positive, not make what amounts to attacks on peoples lifestyle choices. :)
2006-01-18 [Skydancer]: Inappropriate topic comments deleted.. :) don't take it personally, just take it to a forum in you really want to discuss it, but please refrain from attacking other peoples life choices. Thank you. Have a nice day, nothing to see here, move along, move along.. "hands out chocolate bars"
2006-01-18 [Sunrose]: Oooh chocolate bars! *nibbles* ^^
2006-01-18 [Linn Scarlett]: *joins sunrose with eating a chocolate bar*
2006-01-19 [Elisha Kelly]: mmmmm chocolate...
2006-01-20 [Skydancer]: A new reference wiki Anime - Manga Figure Reference but I am not really familar with the style so I will need suggestions for the poses and desired reference props and such.
2006-01-20 [Linn Scarlett]: ohhh nice :D
2006-01-23 [Kahless]: cool, i'll defionately check it out
2006-02-26 [eyes of frost]: Okay, even though I am not 18 for a few more months, I can still support SPANDAA right? *Really is hoping*
2006-02-26 [Linn Scarlett]: *whispers* i turned 18 two weeks ago
2006-02-26 [Skydancer]: support is always welcome, and eventually, we hope every one survives to become a full fledged member..
2006-02-26 [eyes of frost]: Wahaha....*goe
2006-02-27 [Subject37]: how can i see the pics when all of them are 'access denied'?
2006-02-27 [eyes of frost]: You have to be a member.
2006-02-27 [Skydancer]: And you have to be 18 to be a member. What frankly are you doing in a nude artists area if you are 11? Which is what your house says.
2006-02-27 [eyes of frost]: *sighs* Kids these days...
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: *sigh*... why you think you have to be 18 to see nuddity... all you have to do is take off your own clothes...
2006-02-27 [Skydancer]: This person is another matter and has been turned over to the guards. If "she" should post again, please ignore it. We have legal issues here and I will not argue or even discuss that point.
2006-02-27 [eyes of frost]: *hands Skydancer a cookie*
2006-02-27 [Skydancer]: *goes to make chai to go with the cookie*
2006-02-27 [iippo]: Hmm, I also do wonder if "she" drew that centaur too that's in her house. :/ So annoying that people make artists (nude or other) have to behave so suspiciously. :(
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: being the age she is I would say it isn't... and she doesn't claim that it is her work... I think that she just likes it and posted it...
2006-02-27 [The_Soulforged]: If she has draw those centaurs herself at the age of 11 she will be one of the most succesful painters of the world :P =)
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: exactly what I was thinking...
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: And she's taller than me O.o
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: o.O didn't think that would be to hard :P I was taller than my mum by the time I was 10, and I had outgrown her clothes and choes by the time I was 8... so don't feel to bad :D
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: 1.66 for an 11 year old is still tall in my opinion even if there are others who have had the same height, still doesn't make it an average height :P The average height would be around 1.46 as far as I can find it. And that's for Dutch people, one of the tallest people in the world. The average height for female adults would be about 1.70-1.72 (but to be called short there'd have to be a difference of more than 12-13 cm :P).
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: 1.66 meter = 5.446 194 226 feet at 12yr old I was 5' 8"
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: hee hee, That just went in one eye and out the other... I sux at numbers... alls I know is that my mum can fit into kiddies clothes, and that everyone is shocked that I am her daughter :P it's like they think she somehow gave birth to an ogre or something :D...
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: my dad was 6'6" im the shorty in my family... the tallest I topped at was 5' 9,1/2.... BUT thats b/c I was given the pills at 10 to shunt my growth... docter figured I was gonna be taller than mysister at6'1" and brothers at 6'4"...
2006-02-27 [eyes of frost]: Jeeze...I feel short...
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: Feet don't say much to me....anyways, there is one sibling out of 5 shorter than me and that's only by 1 cm or so. My mother is about 1.73 and shortest compared to her 4 siblings. My father was 1.80 and tallest compared to his 3 sisters. So I should've been taller than this and think I would've been weren't it for certain circumstances. But as far as I can understand it sucks to be tall anyway, concerning backproblems and we've got those running in the family already anyway :P
2006-02-27 [eyes of frost]: Gah...I still feel short....jeeze
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: http://www.onl
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: I could've found a converter by myself if I wanted to, but thanks anyway :P
2006-02-27 [iippo]: Yeah, the point was: that's a fishy 11-year-old.
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: The images were removed and she admitted she didn't create them. But she was reasonable about it, seems she needs some help and explanations..
2006-02-27 [eyes of frost]: *Tackles Sunrose and starts tickling her feet*
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: :O
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: she might be better suited to elf12...
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: If she is actually that age, if not it is pretty much opposite of that :p
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: yup... but you can never really tell on the net... <.< >.> Weirdos are everywhere o.O!
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: Is this leading to a confession? :P
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: hee hee... well I could jump out and say that I am really a 3ft man with a thick black beard and hairy legs wearing a pink tutu...
2006-02-27 [Sunrose]: Hmmm interesting portrait =)
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: arent we all weirdos to be here?
2006-02-27 [Yuriona]: Speak for yourself! :O *giggles and runs away*
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: haha... im at least truthful and dont lie
2006-02-27 [Yuriona]: I'll have to take your word on that one. :P
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: awwwww... I crushed my tutu... *cries softly into bushy black beard... * o.O omg!!! if I am a man... then how'd I give birth??? :O
2006-02-27 [iippo]: I admit! I'm 40 and balding! *burst in tears*
2006-02-27 [Skydancer]: ?? Well, it seems a really strange conversation and an even stranger wiki for it to be taking place in, but I suppose any communications are good communications
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: im medicated I have an excuse... I had a molar removed today...
2006-02-27 [Yuriona]: Ugh... been there done that. I had six teeth pulled last summer, 4 wisdoms, 1 molar and 1 old baby tooth. It sucks ass and the Tylenol 3s they gave me were about as helpful as candy.
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: this be my 7th tooth.. I had the 4 wisdoms and two molars out when I was in highschool... that was a trip and a half... this is a root channel tooth that broken.. it spilt all the way down between the two roots... so over the last 2 weeks it been breaks a part .. bit by bit.. but today the dentist had to pull out the roots them selves...
2006-02-27 [iippo]: I've got that done too. And then some. >.O Post-dental surgery is just not fun. Anything dental isn't, really.
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: dentist says once this heals abit.. I can either get braces and even out all the lower teeth into the gap... or a bridge... which is a fake toth that holds the space so other teeth dont fall into it...
2006-02-27 [Elisha Kelly]: <.< did someone say dentist!?! EEEppppp *runs away!*
2006-02-27 [moira hawthorne]: cant blaim here... Thats my normal reaction to dentists... but this tooth was worse than my fear...
