2005-07-31 [iippo]: mmm, I tend to fix that by knitting in the while when my hand hurts too much. That relaxes my muscles, and in the end of the summer I'll be having a new top (not knitting... what's that other thing where you only have one needle and there is a little hook in the end?)

2005-07-31 [iippo]: To me crochet sounds like an outside game you play with hoops and balls and wooden mallets, and it's wicked fun unless you play like an old lady :P (Croquet?) Especially if your equipment is a little old and the mallet tends to break into two pieces if you swing too hard, so that the head of it flies somewhere after hitting the ball and you are left holding a stick and a hope that the ball goes through the hoop or hits another ball so you can croc it (after fixing the mallet of course, you can't croc with a stick).

Hey, did you know that there is a computer game done after Alice 2 (looking-glass one) and in that game the girl isn't Alice, but Ally! *will search a link for you* Darn, Alice was my favourite book at one point. I bought a massive tome of the author's writings, and to my infinite joy the book had a prologue by Alexander Woolcott! And on friday came the movie Mrs. Parker And the Vicious Circle that tells about those times of 20s when Woollcott's group ruled the art and literature critiques in New York! I'm so happy! I really want to see your entry ally, I don't really care who will win. What medium are you using, tell me this much. (w00t for long comments)
2005-07-31 [ally]: Hmm no, just know of the movie. Oh it'd be great if you'd find one, then I can put it in my wiki. I 've only read the book last year (online again) before that I only knew the disney-movie. It seems I should definitly google up Alexander Woolcott (name sounds familiar) I'm just using a mechanical pencil for this one. (WooT indeed, but not as wOOt as the scary uber-message)
2005-07-31 [iippo]: Nothing is as w00t as ze uber message. If you google up Woollcott, you will get a picture of a fat man with a mustache that looks like an owl. But don't let that fool you - the man was as foul as he looked! :D I don't think I've seen the Disney-movie at all properly (I'm horridly under-educated in matters of Disney. I know some but not all). Is a mechanical pencil a pen sort-of thing that you put thin thin thin pieces of pencil lead in and then hate yourself if you accidentally snap it?
