2011-11-06 [Calico Tiger]: Actually, I'm confused to the coloration as well. Third shouldn't be a backslide into green again, should it? Don't we usually just slowly add more stars to the pretty colored badge? It really does seem backwards :)

2011-12-25 [windowframe]: In badges where there are lots of phases, some of them reset to green when the stars or extra details were added. There wasn't always consistency with how badges upgraded though, (there's no rule that says 'four phase badges upgrade like this, six phase badges like this, etc.) I did at one point try and bring some of them into a more sensical order, but it's the kind of thing that drives you crazy if you think about it too long. <_< I might have another go at some point just trying to sort out the most confusing ones (i.e. phase out badges where it reverts back to a green stage; though that might make the Daily Poem bosses cry).
