2006-07-26 [moonscale]: I'm sort of lost and don't know where to go. I donated a picture to the Elftown Portrait Gallery, and I think I get a badge for that. Unfortunatley, I don't know how to get a badge in my house. Can someone please tell me how the actual "getting" of badges works?

2006-07-26 [Charybdis]: You cannot give yourself a badge :) If it were possible, we'd have loads of people claiming to be guards or secret agents or - heaven forbid - mayors :P It's the crew who are able to give them out . As for the portrait gallery, so far as I know badges are not being distributed yet. Sit tight, and you'll get it soon after all the councilmembers have portraits in the gallery :)

2006-08-18 [Yncke]: Only official contests get rewarded with official badges. You could make your own badges for the winners of your contest or take a look at Official Prize Badges. (These are, contrary to the wiki's name, not Elftown official badges. :) )
