I see in my notes that I've made 49 good reports where the guards had to take some type of action, including banning two members. When and how is it determined that someone is eligible to be a patroller? I've been trying for months and am quite active at this site on official competitions, graphics submissions, etc. Is this something that you need to submit an application for the crew?

2006-08-28 [Paul Doyle]: It's not a damn trophy count, mind you. It's how it's done, how consistently it's done, and how effectively it's done. There will be a few accidental bad reports along the way, but as long as you've got a long history of good, reliable reports (and obviously aren't in it just to get an ET badge) you may well be noticed . . . well after the fact, sometimes, but apply yourself regularly, and be patient :)

I didn't count my bad reports or reports that didn't result in images being removed or whatever. But I've the same attitude about patrolling as [EmeraldGrizzly]. I'm not necessarily trying to get the recognition. I'm getting enough recognition by getting results on my reports. I'm just trying to be a good citizen.

It's an attitude thing, but mainly, remember that Elftown is not a democracy. Even if everyone here told Hedda that Genesis should be unbanned, it's solely up to Hedda. So really, talk it out with him.

Im not trying to argue, i just don't see how he was given a fair chance, i mean, [Hedda] didn't even talk to him, no warning no nothing.. [Genesis~] would have easily removed the rotating skull if that was what [Hedda] wanted.. not to mention, you guys probably didnt notice this, but we hackers here at elftown respect the guards, when people complain about getting warned, or a image removed, we tell them to shut the hell up and deal with it.

that poll is quite common actually, and the poll matter is the same as the name: it's not offensive, so not against the rules. the stupidity of the poll is none of your or our buisiness.

So, there this [Living In Stereo] kid, with this lovely picture up but they don't seem to be an artist. No art wikis, galleries, further mentions of being an artist. So, if they aren't... how is it they made that picture? Just seems a bit iffy to me. So hopefully someone might recognize the picture, or I dnno. Again, it's all a bit iffy.
