2006-12-27 [Sunrose]: <news:Christmas art and poetry winners 2006> ;)
2006-12-27 [crypt 03]: when is the next poetry contest
2006-12-27 [Paz]: Probably the Saint Valentine poetry contest in February :)
2007-01-17 [Sunrose]: <news:Prose contest winners>!
2007-01-20 [darkness reaper]: im writing to this council in regardes to the possible posting of my wiki site upon main street its been sometime sense ive been on elftown do to reasons of my own and my wiki has fallen into shambles and i hoped with the councils permission i may have a place on main street for this wiki the order of the knights of chivalry i build this wiki in hopes people would see that chivalry is not dead and gone please consider my proposable of what i ask thank you and have a good day.
2007-01-20 [Lothuriel]: Well, sweetie right now the only wikis being featured on Main Street are the competitions listed in MC. If you really want to revive your wiki, the best thing to do is advertise it yourself. You can advertise in your mood, your public diary, and in your description. There are also a few forums dedication to RPGs and advertising.
2007-01-20 [darkness reaper]: i understand and i am doing so with my members of my wiki. i was wondering by chance would it be possible at a later date have a posting upon mainstreet? it isent urgent to have my wiki posted on mainstreet if there a chance later it could happen it would give me time to reorganize and update everything pertaining to my wiki
2007-01-20 [Lothuriel]: That is what I am trying to tell you. We don't post wikis on Main Street. Only competitions listed in MC and official wikis.
2007-01-20 [darkness reaper]: Oh i see, well thank you for your time, thank you for the pointers and have a nice day
2007-01-20 [All_Most PUNK]: You can enter to the wiki awards! also. That should help a little.
2007-01-20 [darkness reaper]: what are the wiki awards?
2007-01-20 [Zab]: Click the link. ;)
2007-01-20 [darkness reaper]: i see i thank you this should be of great help
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: <news:Valentine Competitions!> ;)
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: Can someone tell me how to put music on here?
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: Own made music? :)
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: like on [Guitar Addicted]'s house.
2007-01-20 [Linderel]: That isn't actually allowed.
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: To be honest, I think it should be. ( Not arguing, just stating my opinion. ) But I would like to do that.
2007-01-20 [Linderel]: Apparently, it is allowed. I thought it wouldn't be, and in my opinion, it shouldn't.
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: The feature itself could be OK, if it would let you press play to start it.
Problem with Firefox however is that it starts to play automatically and that's crap. We don't want this to become MySpace2 :)
[Hedda] just doesn't know at this moment how to fix that, therefore it is most likely such links will be removed for now.
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: I had to press play to listen to it from my computer. Though I understand what you are saying. Is there a way for you to post up you own music so others can hear it?
2007-01-20 [Linderel]: Not to mention that since we have a strict UAR policy, allowing music clips made by other people is a bit eh. :P Since the clip on [Guitar Addicted]'s house was Metallica.
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: Music is art, correct?
2007-01-20 [Linderel]: Yeah. Music doesn't get mentioned in the rules, but yes.
2007-01-20 [Hedda]: It seems that it's Firefox that is buggy and play some of the files regardless of how they are included and even if the HTML says that it should play them.
So if your sound-files look like that, you can't include them in your presentation, even if it's your music. Normal mp3-files are no problem though. It's just the wma-files and similar strange stuff that is a problem.
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: There is a possibility of uploading your own music, but it is only given to those we are sure we can trust. You could of course also try out the community Musmakers :)
And you are right [Linderel], posting music not your own would be against our general policies on art...
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: I mean, ( and again not arguing ) what is wrong with music and/or sounds clips? If you use it for wiki use, or if it is for a picture, then there really isn't a problem, as long as it isn't a copywrited song, correct?
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: They are annoying if they start playing randomly.
All songs are copyrighted :P
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: I am talking about songs for people who have bands, for instance if me and a friend was to record song together.
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: Technically no problem, except for that buggy Firefox :)
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: How could you upload it from a computer, so people could listen to it, without Firefox?
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: Firefox is a browser, you can't really do anything about other people using it...
Considering your history of rule-violation
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: I was going to record a clip of me and [PiMps Up Hoes Down] playing guitar and putting it up on Torrs-Arrok so people can listen to it if they wish, I swear that I will not put a copywrited song on my house, wiki, or anything else.
2007-01-20 [Sunrose]: I think there are some sites out there that can host music files for you, to put on that wiki :)
2007-01-20 [All_Most PUNK]: They could always join Musmakers.com
2007-01-20 [Keyurg Kirosake]: I am joining musmakers.com
Thanks for the site [All_Most PUNK]
2007-01-20 [All_Most PUNK]: Sorry, Sunnyrose. I didn't scroll up xD *scratches head in anime fashion*
Thank Hedda. He's the god and the creator. And also the swedish guy behind the machine.
2007-01-20 [Lothuriel]: Swedish Guy Behind the Machine...soun
2007-01-20 [All_Most PUNK]: Sounds like a song by The Police. And now I'll stop spamming this wiki. Sorry.

2007-01-31 [Sunrose]: About the sound-tag discussion earlier in the wikicomments.
2007-02-02 [Keyurg Kirosake]: ARE ANY GUARDS ON?
2007-02-02 [Lothuriel]: WHat seems to be the problem? I am not a guard but, I may at least tell you what to do to handle the problem.
2007-02-03 [Teufelsweib]: for a problem you can always message one of the guards, or put your problem in the comment box there.

2007-02-22 [Mental Terrorist]: Help please!! I know there was a wiki about schools that are blocking Elftown, but i cannot seem to find it, could someone please point me in the right direction??
2007-02-22 [Zab]: My School is blocking Elftown? :)
2007-02-22 [Mental Terrorist]: Thanky you, i feel a bit challenged but thank you.
2007-03-09 [This is shit]: delete my profile shits!
2007-03-09 [shotokan_gal]: You can't delete yourself from elftown. If you want to leave, delete your house info and don't log back in. And stop spamming the forums with that same line while you're here.
2007-03-14 [light.]: I need a touch of help, dear guards. I recently stumbled upon an old house of mine, [Just Another Teenage Whore. //]. I /would/ love access to that house again. But I forgot my password. It's also set up for an email address that got hacked about a year or two ago. If someone with the power to change the password would please message me, I would like to try and get that house back.
2007-03-14 [Lothuriel]: I think you need to ask [Hedda] or leave a comment in the guards wiki for that.
2007-03-14 [Calico Tiger]: Yar, send [Hedda] a message explaining things :D
2007-03-15 [light.]: Ah yes. That's what I did last time xD
Sorry. ^^
2007-03-27 [Stephen]: [Hedda] told me to ask here about my contest, Trunk Dragon Competition, becoming an official contest. He said I'd need an okay from you guys and a Council member willing to work with me on it.
2007-03-27 [Sunrose]: News notifications:
<news:[ET sci-fi logo contest@wiki]!> deadline May 1st
<news:New [ET Photograph Competition@wiki]!> deadline May 31st
2007-03-29 [xido]: Stevo, because your contest is about a fantasy creature, I'm sure it could fall under the heading of the ECM, which Hedda began as an official ET contest to work on The Creature List. I could always post it up there, and add it to the final Dragon Art pages. Heck, we could even say the Draconic Clan supports it, and it could be a big deal with some members who are into the idea of doing work with the Dragon Clan. It is an interesting idea. Not one I would have ever thought of, myself.
I would also like to approach the Council about the Elftown Clans, which would love a Council member or five around to watch things and give me input every so often on things I don't think of by myself.
Thanks, and best wishes!
-will
2007-03-30 [Sunrose]: [Stephen]: Suppose I will work with you.. :)
I will write it in the news when the current newsitem has been up for about 5 days. It's already added to the calendar and competitions.
2007-04-09 [Hedda]: [xido]: I don't think the trunk dragons belong in the ECM. Trunk dragons aren't generally known as fantasy creatures.
2007-04-11 [light.]: Excuse me, I know I shouldn't be bothering the council with something this small, but it seems to be getting on my nerves. I'm fully aware that you can't ban someone from visiting a page, but [TwiztidYoshi03] has taken that to another level. If you would kindly visit my guestbook you will she that she has started harassing me. I'm not impressed by her attitude and would please like it stopped. I've dealt with her before and she wouldn't listen then either. I haven't been insulting her, but she keeps insulting me. Please do something with her because I would just like to continue on with what I was doing without putting up with her.
2007-04-11 [Lothuriel]: You need to send a guard report.
2007-04-11 [light.]: Did that after. I was more or less in a fury when I wrote that ^
2007-04-11 [Lothuriel]: AH, I see then. I hope everything works out for you.
2007-04-11 [light.]: Naturally it didn't. She's still bothering me =|
2007-04-11 [Lothuriel]: Sometimes it takes the guards awhile to get all their reports done. Just ignore her.

2007-05-17 [Ultiem]: regarding the current mainstreet poll- id like to thank the council for not providing the feedback that wouldve motivated me to kick off Elftown Merchants or its subordinate wiki Elftown badge pins
2007-05-17 [Ocean Soul]: You know, we are not responsible for everything. If you want to get your things running, you have to do something or encourage other people to do it for you. I, for one, had completely forgotten about this project and I do not wish to take the blame from you now. If you want to get something going, you have to keep it present in everyone's head.
Do not make us responsible for not being successful with your project.
2007-05-17 [Kyrinn]: Amen to that.
2007-05-18 [Ultiem]: oh no i lost interest with it. as with trying to get anywhere here, see it isnt possible really.
2007-05-18 [Kyrinn]: Well you kind of implied that its the fault of the council for it when you commented.
2007-05-18 [Sunrose]: The poll gives you feedback, only 16 out of 896 members (2%) voted for pins. It might explain why your idea didn't catch on, rather than 'nothing being possible here'.
On the note of feedback: Stop using this wiki as your personal rantwiki.
2007-05-18 [xido]: Yes, that's my job. So far I've learned it does nothing anyways.
2007-05-18 [Kyrinn]: then dont do it. :P
2007-05-19 [Ultiem]: elftown merchants wasnt intended for Just pins anyway it was intended to be the place where the merchandise where ever the hell its at would be purchased from
2007-05-19 [Sunrose]: Aha, I mainly remember the subject being pins.
Currently there is no merchandise yet, so there's no hell it is currently at.
But are you applying for your wiki to be used for this?
2007-05-19 [Ultiem]: why yes lol
2007-05-19 [Sunrose]: Alright, could you restore it? :P
2007-05-19 [Ultiem]: in a few minutes (ps3 browser sucks)

2007-07-02 [FF/Med . Johnson]: hey i think that the should be a town fire n rescue... just wondering if that could be an idea?
2007-07-02 [Lothuriel]: What would it be used for?
2007-07-06 [de Morte]: I was wondering why there have been so many changes on the layouts of the page. I liked the way that it was before because it made more sense, if you wanted to watch through someones page you would have to scroll down and go through their page and see what they had to say. Now it is at the top of the page and sets the buttons there at a weird position, the buttons at the top of the page are no longer straight. (that would be my OCD kicking in =/)
I really don't mind the changes to the "view the next/previous (active) memeber" I rather like how that was moved...
Don't mind my random commentary on that, I am not sure where I should have typed it, but this looked like a good place to start.
2007-07-06 [Sunrose]: It's a pretty good place, [Hedda] did the changes and he might show up here to answer your question.. :)
2007-07-06 [de Morte]: Thank you.
2007-07-07 [Hedda]: Well, it's not perfect visually, but I think the buttons belong together. They were too chattered before and therefore hard to find.
Of course it takes some time to get used to.
2007-07-07 [Kyrinn]: I dunno, I actually like the set up better this way. *thumbs up*
2007-07-07 [Zab]: I like the place, but I'd rather have another background color. Perhaps the same as at ''no new messages''.
2007-07-07 [Sunrose]: Ah the menu on the right? I think that colour makes it look too Elfpackish if applied at the top :/
2007-07-07 [Zab]: Well.. It just doesn't fit with the rest of the colours..
But it's just me, I'll get used to it if I stay long enough..and I'm too addicted to leave, so..
2007-07-07 [Linderel]: You could always make a stylesheet of your own if it bothers you. ;)
2007-07-07 [Zab]: No..I'm too stupid/un-comp
2007-07-09 [de Morte]: What bothers me a lot is the lopsided-ness of the top buttons...
The "relations" "last postings" "block this member" and "send report to guards" are put off by the "watch this member" button...
2007-07-11 [Mordigen]: i dunno, i kinda like the way it is set up now --- i agree, its kinda weird, and lopsided and im not quite used to it at all just yet lol, but it does make a lot more sense and once i get used to it i think i'll like it a lot better this way --- i already use the member browsing a lot more now because they seem to catch my eye more, and are easier to navigate with being in the side-menu
ON a different note --- re-reading the new news posting....it says until midnight Elftown time ---- what exactly is Elftown time?? I've never quite understood that heh
2007-07-11 [Levoton]: ET time is the one you see in the box above "Mood:" on the side menu.
2007-07-11 [Mordigen]: well yes, but i mean ....if i'm offline and i can't remember it, what time zone is it --- or is it it's own time zone?
2007-07-11 [True, plain and simple]: It's UTC.
2007-07-11 [Mordigen]: ah, alrighty , thankya ^_^
2007-07-11 [de Morte]: Ok... could [Hedda] put the "watch this member" button on top of the other button so its not lopsided, but the buttons are still in the same general area? Therefor everyone would be happy?
2007-07-11 [Sunrose]: After reading the above I'm still not sure where you want the 'watch this member' button to go :/
2007-07-11 [iippo]: (I don't even understand how the buttons are lopsided. To me they line up just fine.)
2007-07-11 [Sunrose]: Maybe a screenshot would help in explaining that..with an arrow pointing to where the button would do better..
2007-07-11 [Mordigen]: ok, after going through several houses, i have to agree with iippo - my buttons line up just fine too :/
2007-07-11 [Linderel]: I'm not entirely sure that [de Morte] is aiming at the exactly same thing, but here's what I think.
The problem is that the buttons are a different size, and the current lineup accentuates this fact. I can't quite decide which is worse, having the invite button or not having it... but the fact is, that one is significantly thinner than the rest of the buttons and out of synch to top it off. I'm also not quite sure which priv you require to be able to see the invitations button, but... Yeah. Also, to have a long line, a short line, and then a long line again - that's disturbing.
2007-07-11 [Mordigen]: i think the one without the member stats and invitations button looks a lot less aesthetically pleasing, and a lot less sensable
2007-07-11 [Linderel]: That one is taken with a house that has the standard priv - 101. So the average Elftowner sees things like that. Testing showed that even with a 100 priv it looks like that.
2007-07-11 [Levoton]: I would like it if all buttons looked alike (instead of five green, four transparent, one wild and one without a graphic {not to mention the other ones lying around ET}) and on one line like the main navigation.
2007-07-11 [Linderel]: Yes! Seconded! Except for maybe the one line thing.
2007-07-11 [Mordigen]: iiihhh.....i'm glad i don't have that standard priv then, that would drive me NUTS O.o
2007-07-11 [Linderel]: You see my point, then? :)
2007-07-11 [Mordigen]: definately lol
2007-07-11 [Sunrose]: You can see the invite-button when you have invite-privs, which is 99 :)
It's weird how the second row is attached to the top row like that. It doesn't look like that for me, but the invite button does screw up the line:
It's worse for me though to look at my own house, as the extra graphicless buttons are badly organised there (in houses not my own they form a new line, but in my own they are put together with the rest in 2,1 lines)
2007-07-12 [violetb]: Hi my friend is trying to get on here but it won't let her because she needs a e-mail address and she doesn't have one.I need this problem solved now. My name is violetb.
2007-07-12 [Sunrose]: She can easily create an emailaddress :)
2007-07-12 [iippo]: For example, www.hotmail.co
2007-07-13 [Sunrose]: <news:Winners Patrons' Challenge!>
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: I wasn't quite sure where to bring this up, so I decided to bring it here hoping someone could help out ---> A while ago I brought up a suggestion for a badge for people who have donated to the Herald, and was told the green monotone could be used for that while the coloured one will be for actual staff and Veterans --- alright, well i have a comment:: [Skydancer] should really have a Coloured Herald badge, as though he is not an active member now, he has contributed A LOT in the past, making him a very respected vet.
Also, [Shamera] should have a green monotone badge, NOT a coloured one...she has contributed to the Poetry corner a lot, and has entered a guest submission on occasions, but was never an staff member of the Herald, current, veteran or otherwise, so should only have the green monotone badge.
If someone could take care of that for me please as I do not have badge authorization.
Many thanks
-m
2007-07-17 [Sunrose]: The discussion about those badges has continued a while among ourselves and we were told that the Herald actually has private rewards for occasions such as these. Images that a member of your staff created to give to those who earned it, the members could put them in their descriptions.
If they exist (I am not a member of the forum, so I can't track them down), we feel that it would probably be better to start using them for these types of things :D
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: Oh yes, indeed we do -- Sorry, I was not informed of that update before, the comment in the suggestion forum was the last update I had seen --- So that takes care of [Skydancer]s situation :)
but in that case, if you guys are more comfortable for us using our reward badges for descriptions, then there are SEVERAL members that should not have Herald badges at all, in which they already do.....
which I don't really know how they got the badges in the first place :-/ but thats a whole different story -- what should we do about those member who should not have official badge then? just leave them be?
2007-07-17 [Sunrose]: Ah yea, I guess no one remembered to take it back to that forum.
Well, to keep it fair they should get the same rewards as everyone else would who did the same amount of work :)
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: Oh yes, true true, people who have contributed as much should definately recieve the same awards --- what I meant was there are members who have contributed, who have earned certain of our reward badges that we have made for them, yes, they should all be rewarded equally --- but what I'm really referring to is back before the Official ET badges had as many security features and controls on them.....I remember when members could add in Official ET badge image links on their own as they wish....of course, they'd get in trouble if they were caught without properly being awarded the badge, but there was still the option to do it yourself, without a council member or other ET staff member giving it to you, for you. During this time there were a lot of member who joined the Herald that were taken on and had placed the badge themselves in their house---which no one disputed at the time because they were supposed members....but then, once they had the badge, actually contributed nothing and became inactive and void from the Herald completely.
And then in more recent times, there are several members who have indeed contributed to the Herald through the Poetry Corner or such, who by all right deserve one of our badges that we have made for descriptions, but somehow was given an Official ET Badge when we cant figure out who awarded it to them, where they came from and how they got etc etc, when they were not Herald members at all, and should have one of our badges made for contributions rather than the Official ET badge
i hope that all made sense O.o
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: I dont know --- you can ignore me. There is obviously a LOT of reorganization we need to do, I just need to get up with Kaimee and figure out everything before I bring this back up. Sorry to junk up the comments, but thanks for all the help ^_^
2007-07-17 [Sunrose]: Not sure who these people are you are referring to, but these are the names that the searches give:
Ferret badge (old Herald badge): <URL:seek_m
Raven badge: <URL:seek_m
In total 28 people, I assume most of them should have the official badge.
So it shouldn't be too much work to take care of those left who don't :)
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: as I discovered, I don't even know who I was referring to.... I thought I knew, but turns out no....I was missing out on something, yet again, O.o
thats why I said you could just ignore me, we just got some major reorganizing and sorting out to do.
2007-07-17 [Sunrose]: Well, if you want you can check the links and see if there's anyone in there who strikes as an odd one out..
When you're going to reorganise you will probably need to know that anyway. I could take care of them now and you could give them their new reward once the reorganisation is done :)
Or hold this off entirely until the reorganisation is sorted out..
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: ah...see, yes. [unicornis], [Shamera], [Poindextra], [lady nytmare] and [Lady Chaos] should have our contributions reward badge rather than an actual Heralders badge.....but then again on the other hand, there are sssooo many veterans, that have no badge left at all... like [Skydancer], [skylie], [spiritee], [Isilando] [Calico Tiger] and thats why I am confused about whats really going on.....
I dont know what the original plan was, so I'm a bit lost now as to the badge situation....t
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: and once again, sorry to junk up the comments....i didn't realize how lost i actually was when I asked the question :-/
2007-07-17 [Sunrose]: Ah yes, we weren't sure about the matter of veterans either.
An idea would be to only give active Heralders an official badge. Then have two separate private rewards for contributors and veterans..that way veterans would get something after all :)
2007-07-17 [Mordigen]: that is actually *exactly* what I just messaged Kaimee about lol
that would be my vote, I think it is just the most effecient and makes the most sense...but since me and Kaimee are running the Herald together, I want to make sure to get her opinion on it first
2007-07-17 [Sunrose]: Sounds like a good plan :)
2007-07-17 [Zab]: I'm having trouble accessing Elftown after the new adress thingy started. The old adress stops working and the new adress stops working. I can access all other internet sites and appearantly it doesn't happen to everyone since I talk to some Elftown members on yahoo and msn. Why does this happen and what can I do about it? I've tried using both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
It works at times (like now) but then suddenly I get that the page can't be found because my request (to open a new page I guess) was directed wrong or something. I thought it happened to everyone, but well, as I said, appearantly not. It lasts for some minutes (2-20minutes or something) :/
2007-07-17 [Hedda]: I guess it says that there were too many redirects?
It's because the DNS-servers you're using haven't updated yet. It will work just fine from now on.
2007-07-17 [Zab]: Well..it said.. eh.. that it was sent in a way it couldn't follow it or something..not
Are you sure? >_> it has happened like.. 15 times or something already...

2007-07-21 [Mordigen]: I edited and updated the Heralders page -- I also created the Retired Heralders page and linked it to the original page. I don't know if I over stepped my limits with the "official et page", but I thought it only seemed fitting, but it can always be changed if it was inappropriate of me.
Just an FYI to everyone.
^_^
2007-07-21 [Mordigen]: I have also Organized the Herald Donors page. Regarding the above statement about the Badges, if someone could help me, as i do not have the authority to give/remove badges, members that may have a Herald badge on the Retired Heralders page and the Herald Donors page should be removed --- they will be recieving their own reward badges by the herald staff for their descriptions that are in the process of being made and handed out, so they should not have the official ET herald badge.
If someone could help me with that, that would be greatly appreciated. ^_^
2007-07-22 [Sunrose]: I'll take a look tomorrow :)
2007-07-22 [Mordigen]: Thanks so much :)

2007-07-27 [Mordigen]: OK, please don't beat me with a stick, but I have one more issue I need help on ^.^ I know I have been harrassing you guys like crazy and you're probably just wishing I'd shut up and go away, but I if I get this settled, it'll be the last one in a long time, I swear!! -- The Herald as a specific wiki page that is hidden---it is a "behind the scenes" page, but we cannot edit it -- I don't know who the wiki owner is or what the password is, but those members are no longer active and no longer Heralders----w
2007-07-27 [Sunrose]: Please send me the page-name :)
2007-07-27 [Mordigen]: thankya thankya :)
2007-07-27 [Calico Tiger]: If you suspected it was me, you coulda just asked me (I have the power to fix it regardless of it being me or not) XD I don't really remember it myself, personally
2007-07-27 [Mordigen]: O.o hahahahaha XD ok, so we're a lil slow. LOL
2007-07-28 [Sunrose]: I still have to look at the Herald stuff, but I've been a bit busy and now I'm a bit sick, but I will check it as soon as I can :)
2007-07-28 [Mordigen]: That is fine -- again, thankyou so much. ^_^ Hope you feel better :(

2007-08-03 [Mordigen]: The new issue of the Herlad is out -- The Town Herald - Issue 15
2007-08-03 [Sunrose]: Wow, that's quick! :o
Is there a pdf-file ready too? :)
2007-08-03 [Mordigen]: heh heh...not quite yet, I am working on it, but for some reason everytime i try to convert the file to PDF it comes out completely scrambled....I just don't know what I'm doing wrong...[Kaimee] usually handls the pdf versions, and she has been sick, so I've been trying to get it together but it's going to take some tweaking, but we thought it was important to go ahead and get it out, and then when i get the PDF finished we'll add it in -- I'm working on it right this very minute, so hopefully soon i'll get it right LOL
2007-08-06 [Mordigen]: OK the PDF is ready and has been added to the Herald front page The Town Herald - Issue 15 so everything is officially done!

2007-08-31 [Teufelsweib]: Your badges dissapeared? Well, a while ago there was a badge-eating bug, so most likely you had that too.
you should contact [Hedda] about it, he'll turn it right =)
2007-08-31 [light.]: It's kind of sad that it's took me til now to realize they poofed. I'll go mention it to him and see if he'll fix it :3
Thanks

2007-10-20 [emochickffaf]: Hi, i wish to end my account with elftown, i would be greatful if you could help me do this.
2007-10-20 [Levoton]: You cannot destroy the account. If you wish to leave, just erase the content and don't get on anymore.
2007-10-20 [Hedda]: Please also note that deleting your account and trying to come back probably will fail as we're quite fed up with people deleting and recreating themselves. So if you cause problems, it can be impossible to access Elftown for many years to come.
It's easier and better for everyone to just not log in, if you really want to leave.
