2014-05-05 [Mortified Penguin]: You could also read every poem ever submitted by looking at the past page versions of Daily Poem and Daily_Poem!
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: I would like to receive the Master Poet badge I've earned. As you'll note:
[Mortified Penguin] - 3
and
[perfumed ignition] - 2
Which, I believe, adds up to at least 5. Possibly 6. Regardless, gimme.
2014-08-05 [Flisky]: No. As they are two distinct users (or had better be otherwise you've broken a few of the DP rules), your badge will remain as is.
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: What rules are you referring to?
2014-08-05 [perfumed ignition]: Hmm, yes... what rules could she possibly mean?
2014-08-05 [Flisky]: That collaborations are not allowed and we do not steal art. Therefore, if you, Mortified Penguin, are claiming them, then I can only assume that perfumed ignition stole them and the poems in question must be discounted and ignition will lose his/her badge and poem count.
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: You're still assuming we're two different people. If I'm Perfumed Ignition, then not a single rule was broken.
2014-08-05 [Flisky]: Also you had more than four of your own poems on the page at once if you are not two people. Which, as you know, is against the rules. And then I'll have to take action. But I know Mortified Penguin would never break the rules like that.
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: When were there more than four collective poems on the page?
2014-08-05 [Flisky]: Back when I was first doing the Daily Poem. Because I'm the one who featured both Mortified Penguin and perfumed ignition for the first time. Those poems came from the same batch, if I recall correctly. And I'm pretty certain I do since I specifically pulled yours from the submission page to post it.
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: Incorrect. I believe you'll find [Mortified Penguin] and [perfumed ignition] have never had four poems or more submitted at the same time. The poem of [perfumed ignition]'s you featured can be found submitted here: http://elftown
And as you can see, not a single poem was submitted by [Mortified Penguin] at that time.
2014-08-05 [Flisky]: Good thing I got you to do my digging for me. I'm a little lazy at the moment. Just wanted to make sure you hadn't broken that rule if what you say is true.
But there's still the matter of the fact that another member's (be it you or not) poetry submissions cannot count towards yours. Remember having this discussion about another poem that you didn't want your name on and instead put someone else's? What happened there was that in the end no one got credit for that poem. Since that is the current precedence, I cannot change it even in this instance. You're going to have to earn it the old fashioned way.
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: No, what happened was that you forced me to change the format of my poem and take responsibility for it, prompting me to make a "Written by [Mortified Penguin]" poem in response.
But there is precedence on Elftown of transferring badges from clone accounts to regular accounts, which was set years ago when [Sagacious Turkey] had numerous clones he submitted art and stuff with.
2014-08-05 [Flisky]: With Linderel. And this was done on a case by case basis. I'm still reviewing your case. Give it time. Final decisions are not made, but until that decision is made, stick to the program of earning the badge. No worries, Mort, we'll have an answer for you soon. (Although I might suggest posting more poems on the Daily Poem page because it's abysmally empty.) I need to make sure no violations were made in the submissions. As of yet (thank you for doing that) I haven't found any. But we will have to revoke perfumed ignition's badges if this is the case.
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: I will of course give you a reasonable amount of time to review the case, but I won't be dropping this. Just like with my veteran guide badge. It took years of arguing, but I finally got what I was owed.
Would you like some help reviewing? I know where to find most anything you might be looking for and quickly too. I could have this review wrapped up in under an hour if you let me know what you need to find.
2014-08-05 [Mortified Penguin]: But if you want to just cut through all the needless red tape and give a member that submitted 5 daily poems the badge to match his efforts, feel free.
2014-08-05 [Flisky]: It's mostly a collaboration with the other Daily Poem boss, who was not online at the moment. But I need to sleep as it's almost 1 in the morning. We'll have this wrapped up tomorrow. I'll PM you personally. ^^
2014-08-06 [Mortified Penguin]: No PM needed, I'll be arriving at your house shortly to stare at you while you sleep. Just come get me from your closet when you're ready.
2014-08-06 [Flisky]: Noted.
2014-09-02 [Mortified Penguin]: I understand that reviews on Elftown can take several years at a time, due to their incredibly complicated nature, but I was just wondering if any sort of conclusion had been made.
Thank you SO MUCH for your time!
Love,
[Mortified Penguin]
P.S. - SO MUCH
2014-09-04 [Flisky]: I'm sending you a PM now.
